Best sneakers I have had. I bought them specifically for dog showing, standing around all day, fast walking and running in the show ring on uneven grass surfaces at Rural Agricultural Shows. Brilliant! I’ve noticed a huge reduction in my foot issues including sore arches and Achilles pain. Highly recommend.

These are lightweight and very comfortable. They are true to size and I have wide feet and they fit well without pinching. I use them for every day wear in winter and wet weather as they keep my feet warm and dry without feeling heavy or restrictive. I’m happy with my purchase and would happily recommend them.

Likes the way they feel so far but will put them through the test when we do a wilderness hike up to lake Stewart on the weekend of the 4th of July holiday. That is difficult hike up in the Pecos wilderness which takes a full day to trek. Will update review if these do not stand up to the task. Great value for the money if they hold up!

These Merrells are very cushiony! Love how they absorb the shock when Im hiking on hard rock. They are very roomy so you may consider ordering down a half size. I just wear thicker socks. They have great grip too.
An amazing light shoe which will suit any walking terrain. I do a lot of bushwalking and these shoes are just perfect. Love the tougher material used on the toes section, as this is always where my shoes deteriorate first (even after a couple of months!).
These shoes are attractive and comfortable, but poorly made. They look extremely beat up after only a few hikes. The sole and fabric started to wear away, I doubt these shoes would last me 1 year. Disappointed because they feel and look great! Unfortunately I cannot return them because I got them resupply in-store.
I love these trail runners. They are cushioned all around, which feels really comfortable. They have great tread but are still a bit flexible and the toe box is spacious. They're also beautiful. I typically wear a size 8/8.5 in most shoes, and the 8 in these is perfect for me.
Where are the two missing grommets for the right shoe? Opened the box today so excited because I have the hiking shoes by Merrill which I loved in the exact same color…. I get these and there’s no grommets on the right upper shoelace eyelet bummer . Gosh for $96. I’m going to have to return ithe shoes, when in fact, they feel pretty good right now. I don’t have an REI near me, This is pretty minor as compared to world affairs, though a lot of money to and an inconvenience for me. How will I know this will not happen again if I reorder?
Unfortunately my usual size, women's 8.5, fits a bit tight. It also felt like the toe box wasn't roomy like Merrell shoes used to be. Their toe boxes used to be roomy and comfortable, leaving plenty of room to wiggle my toes without constriction. Just looking at these, it seems like a more constrictive design in the toe box than their shoes used to have, which is a shame. Still, I have ordered a size larger and I'm hoping for the best. They don't feel especially cushioned, but they do have some cushioning - the soles are not hard. I do appreciate that the color is all black.
