This is a relatively heavy, nicely coated, stylish fry pan. Heat is distributed evenly and gradually allowing easy cooking. The size is just perfect for frequent use. I usually use it for sauces, side dishes or frying food for two-three people. The handle is nice and well balanced.It cleans easily. Seriously, what else do we need?

So far, so good. Needed to get a pan that was not going to be shedding non stick every time I used it.Read several reviews about this brand, and they were very positive. I have only used it 3 times since it arrived, but it cooks evenly; cleans up well; has a good weight (not heavy like cast iron, but hefty); and I will take a chance with metal utensils once it is more "broken in".Found it at a good price too. Win-win.

This carbon steel frying pan is great, I absolutely love it! It heats up fast and even and it cooks your food perfectly every single time. It seems very well made and durable. It's a little heavier than I prefer but not that big a deal, I will get used to it. I absolutely love cooking in it and I think you will too!!

Love this pan! It really is non-stick! I watched many videos about how unsafe and harmful the non-stick pans are doing to the earth and all living creatures so I had been looking for substitutes. And this is it!I use it to make eggs, tofu, and fried rice. It is better than cast iron for this kind of cuisine in my opinion. And yes, I dry and oil my pan after cooking because I want it to stay non-stick and away from rust. Highly recommend it!
Got tired of throwing out nonstick pans every couple years and decided to get this carbon steel pan, and I have no regrets! Cooked salmon in it the first night and it not only made a delectable crust on both sides (which you don’t get with nonstick) and it didn’t stick to the pan either. It has some weight compared to stainless/aluminum pans, but it’s not so heavy that I won’t reach for it (like with cast iron). Easy clean up and the pre seasoning is convenient. Would recommend!
First time cooking with carbon steel but already finding new uses for it. One is being able to control the temp right away. It does require some maintenance in cleaning, but not as much as cast iron (which i could never get used to) and this pan is much lighter. If you're into cooking it's fun having another technique to cook things. Fully enjoying it!
I have been using various frying pans but they had problems of plenty like rusting, sticking the food, burning, smoke due to sticky food, not easy to clean etc. I got this Merten and Stork 10” Pre-Season Carbon Steel Pan which overcomes all these problems. It’s lightweight, easy to clean, heat up fast, non-stick and durable too. It can be use on stovetop, oven, grill and on open flames. Overall great quality product.
This pan is in no way non stick. It's the opposite. They should call it a stick pan. My first attempt at cooking eggs was terrible. Coated the pan with butter and cooked on low/medium heat. Look at the picture. How is this considered non stick? You are better of buying a 10 dollar non stick pan.
Our 10” Merton and Storck carbon steeel frying pan works like a dream. It’s super heavy duty with wonderful craftsmanship. I love that it is non-stick and easy to clean. It has a large surface area that is perfect for breakfast, sautéing and frying! I will definitely be purchasing bigger pans in the future!

Its a little intimidating to use because directions for use is sort of vague. i looked online for guidance and even called the manufacturer and was told I only have to wash the pan and use. There's nothing toxic that needs scrubbing. I scrubbed anyway because there was dark oil residue on the pan which disappeared after several uses and wash. Aside from having to season it after each use it's not that hard to upkeep.
