I've used Bosch sanders in past and decided to give a Metabo product a go...I'm not disapointed... A well balance sander that a child could use...It glides over the wood like Nadia comaneci! ( In layman's terms, effortless) Only down side is the cable snags the dust bag...Dust collection is good, but not the best... Would I recomend this sander? YES, it's an alreet bit of kit!

Does exactly what it says on the tin, it does me as a car refinisher perfectly, the only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is its just that tiny bit large for the intricate spaces.

Meets my expectations, already a lot of body and plaster sanding, good job. At the suction level, remove the rather ineffective dust bag and keep the rubber sleeve to connect the vacuum cleaner. Very attractive price because 50 € more at Perlin Pinpin!

Great orbital for the money. Great for walls and doors. Smooth as a bar of soap... highly recommended..
Quite impressed. Smaller and lighter than my Bosch pro sander. Works well on softwoods, hardwoods and MDF. More vibration than more expensive models though
Perfect for my first use, namely sanding beams in the rooms. The option to connect to a vacuum cleaner is great, really avoids having dust everywhere. It should not be heavier, for work by carrying it outstretched it is just enough.
Like all Metabo power tools; it's a quality item. Powerful but quiet. Works brilliantly esp with Abranet sanding discs. Only criticism is that the dust collection bag is a bit fiddly.
I have never owned one before but have played with a few and this is the perfect toy for any mancave or hobbyist, I have used it to sand down all my living room and its done the perfect job in super quick time on walls and doors. Cant rate it highly enough I am really happy with it
its low weight gives it a pleasant use, especially for vertical sanding. The dimmer and the lock are also a good ally. The dust bag empties and closes easily. It is a rather "silent" sander. Delighted with my purchase.
had a load of timber to sand and almost bought an expensive heavy duty version. but opted for this instead. what a powerful little sander. it is more than up to the job. dust extraction is very good emptied the bag a couple of times then attached it to a shop vac. pipe fitted straight on no adaptor needed. its now my go to sander in the workshop. will look at other metabo tools next time i need something
