This compact pneumatic brad nailer has proved to be a real asset, from pinning together pieces for homemade jigs to installing moldings, it can really hold its own. Does not hesitate through harder woods like oak. In the three or so months thatI've owned it, it has not misfired once or jammed for that matter. The tool is very easy to load and if it were to jam, very easy to clear . I also appreciate the offset air inlet and the carrying case keeps it well protected. Using this tool is a satisfying experience.

Bought this tool in June 2022. I have used it on several jobs now. What I like about this Brad Nailer is the range of brad length that it will handle. Shooting a brad 2 inches long is a snap for this tool. The tool is ergonomically designed, and is comfortable to handle, very light weight, and easy to load with brads. I also like the trigger selection feature where you can set it to fire at each trigger pull, or set it to fire at each nozzle bump, allowing you to move along at a faster pace. If you don't own one of these tools, definitely put it on your list of purchases, and get this thing in your tool collection. You will not regret it!!!

I bought this gun thinking it was an Hatachi but learned only the name has changed. It worked fine for about a month and all of a sudden would quit shooting nails. I finally figured out that the slide that pushes the nails would jump up on top of the nails and jam. I could not figure out what was causing that. After a few months of letting it sit I got it back out and started examining it closely. I found that a piece of the bottom of the plastic magazine had broken off and allowed enough play that the pusher plate would slip on to the nails. By the time all of this started I had lost my receipt. Never mind that the Metabo name had not been around for anything close to five years. The closest service center to me is over 50 miles and I didn't have amy receipt so I just ordered a new magazine from Amazon. I replaced the magazine (about a 10 minute job) and now it is back to new. I consider that plastic magazine a very weak point for this tool and the ease of finding a replacement tells me that I am not the first to run into this problem. Overall this is a very good little gun if you can keep the magazine from breaking but that one flaw make be downgrade it to three stars. Note: I had to rate the reputation low as I had never heard of Metabo.

I've used a lot of nailers in my life, and never had one jam as much as this one. I've also never seen one so cheaply constructed. This makes sense as it is the cheapest one I've used by far.The biggest downside, and the reason I'll be replacing it eventually, is that I don't trust it not to jam on me, and firing it when jammed can cause real damage. I had to disassemple the nailing part completely after it jammed once, and it likes to occasionally shoot nails through the front of the plastic guard.Because of this I can't really use it in short succession, and have to check each nail hole to see if it actually shot a nail. This would really slow me down if I was trying to do large amounts of trim with it, so if you're trying to do baseboards in a whole house or ... This would really slow me down if I was trying to do large amounts of trim with it, so if you're trying to do baseboards in a whole house or something similar do yourself a favor and spend the extra money to save you the time. If you're like me and mostly use this to put together shop jigs and to tack in drawer bottoms it isn't a large concern.
I bought this last minute to replace a broken nailer. I didn't know that it needed oil in the air for lubrication, so I had to delay using it until it was as ready as I was. The manufacturer's recommendation is to install a dryer and oiler in line with the hose. With no such option available at Lowe's, I opted to manually lubricate by applying a couple of drops of air tool oil into the inlet prior to use and after use. I was able to adjust the depth of drive very easily and finished quickly. Time will tell how well it lasts, but I'm satisfied with its cost and operation so far.
Had it for over a year, use it a lot. Love it, works flawlessly. Drives 2” brads in oak, no problem. Have a Hitachi 15 gauge nailer, and 12” compound sliding miter with laser. Love them both! I’d be lost without the miter saw. That’s why I bought this little brad nailer. I’m sold on Metabo/Hitachi. 👍😊
As a professional I have been using the Hitachi Nail guns for years. The Metabo name carries on the legacy of High quality tools that all the features you need. The ergonomics of the Metabo products is unmatched, they just fit your hand like an extension of yourself. This makes using the tool feel natural. For instance, notice the air connection is not straight out the back as others are. Why? Because with this little difference you can reach farther into corners! It is that attention to detail that keeps me on Team Green! I bought this because I dropped my ten year old Hitachi in the wall! Oopsy!
I've been running this little brad nailer for a year now and I love it! This thing is so freaking light weight. It's small enough that I can get into some tight corners when doing finishing trim work. Shoots up to 2" nails which has worked out great for me as I rarely use anything longer than that with an 18 gauge nailer. Adjusting depth is super easy by turn a knob. I haven't experienced a jam yet, but it appears to be super easy to clear and I've shot anything from 1" to 2" bard nails. Everything is clear and esy to read on the magazine depending on the nail size you are using, so it's impossible to mess things up. I know a lot of people are going hoseless these days but I'm super happy with this brad nailer.
I work in property management on the maintenance side and needed a fairly inexpensive nail gun to get me through until I could get a "better" option. Well, that "better" option was never needed. This thing, for the cost, cuts through well (once everything is tuned), and so far hasn't failed me, yet! Getting it "tuned" meaning making sure you are getting the right pressure for the proper depth the nail should be seated at. 2 inch is pretty versatile for what I need. Sturdy build so it doesn't feel "cheap" at the inexpensive tag, yet, light and nimble for quick work. Good response for what I need it for. Solid for casual home use or a regular semi-daily use. I've had this product for 6 months or so, with fairly regular use. Get some oil with it! Take care of it (it ... I often find people review products after not even taking care of the tool properly and slander it for their negligence, but there have been tools I have taken care of and they just simply failed. Anyway, generally take care of the tool and it will take care of you.
I had another brand nailer that started leaking air where the trigger button is located, tried overhauling it but no luck. I then went to my local HF store and purchased an entry level Brad nailer to finish my project. I regretted it after using it I realized how important the extra features where from higher end Brad nailers like this metabo had. Now I own the metabo and have never looked back! Saved me allot of time and headaches from clearing jams. Worth every penny plus great warranty!
