Metabo MT 18 LTX Cordless Multitool Green

this Metabo tool is quiet and does what i expected of it. almost all of my tools are Metabo as they are of a good quality at a reasonable price. the batteries are of great quality and with a three year warranty, they wear out long after this period is up.

Good Multitool

Purchased this as it uses one of the battery systems I already used and have found it to be good quality. Cutting and sanding is better than the mains powered Bosch one I have. I particularly like the quick release tool mechanism.

Great tool for a great price!

This has got to be my favourite tool from metabo so far. Paired with a lihd 4ah and it's got incredible power. Nice little tool at a great price!

Metabo 18v Cordless Oscillating Tool

Like most Metabo tools the construction is very good. This is much heftier tool than the 12v Bosch tool this replaced. The Bosch is a good tool but lacks the battery life and power for serious work. The extra weight of the Metabo tool isn't all bad. It seems to help transmit more energy to the blade instead of vibrating the tool. This makes it less numbing and easy to control. With a 5.2ah battery you can make continuous heavy cuts from 40 to 60 minutes. Considering you can cross cut a 2x4 in less than a minute that's a lot of cuts. The tool-less blade changing works well, the only concern is the possibility of loosing the center piece that retains the blade. While this tool can be pricey if you have other Metabo 18v tools this one will fit right in.

I bought this as I had already bought the drill and impact driver, so I was tied into Metabo battery operated gear, hey ho.I've not used it much so far, but I'm sure it'll do various special jobs that would otherwise take me an age. I have tried sanding with it and it's no where near as powerful as a corded sander, also weighs more - alright for a quick job but not for a day or more. I didn't buy it for sanding large areas so it's not a major issue. Quick change feature is excellent and I am sure it will come in proper use soon. Solid construction and glad I bought it, I'm sure in the right (or wrong) situation, it will pay for itself.

This is a direct replacement for a metabo cordless multi-tool that was burnt out due to over use. I rate metabo as a quality bit of kit. It is well balanced in the hand and lasts a long time on a battery charge. The motor is very powerful and able to cut through quite thick material in some very awkward positions. It has been essential in the fitting out of a very large room with 3mm White rock plastic sheathing and numerous other projects.

This is a great buy. The locking device to change accessories is effective and does not break loose, you must turn the clamp through 180. The Led lights are well-positioned and the whole tool has the Metabo quality that I'm used too after 25 years with this manufacturer, who were the first to introduce efficient motor control. The antivibration damping is effective and you can use this tool to give optimum performance, Highly recommended purchase from these people and Metabo service.

The metabo range of tools are quality “And” do what they say on the box.Very pleased with all mine.

the battery .... not compatible

Like an impression of being made to have me. I already have equipment Metabo and it seemed that the batteries were the same ... little ready! I find myself having to buy another battery reference for this tool Metabo. What a shame. So, no test, since no battery.
