This product is called a drawer NOT a filing cabinet. At work, we call this an "under the desk drawer". I ordered expecting this is regular standard height 4 drawer filing cabinet. I did not browse through the product description (my mistake). i planned to return the product, which they allow, but my problem is taking this back to the post office, the weight of the box being heavy for me ( it might break my back. I wish there are other options available for Seniors. for returning the product.

I had been looking for small drawer metal cabinets for a long time, but elsewhere. I had not thought of looking on Temple & Webster. I gave up because nothing was quite right for my purposes and necessary individual drawer height. Long story short I stumbled upon the selection of metal drawers on T & W. I am always grateful for the detailed descriptions and measurements on T & W, which was very necessary in this case as I had a very tight space for which I desired 3 cabinets. With care and attention I chose 3 of these.They arrived very well packed. There was a good deal of assembly required, but very easy if the instructions are carefully understood and a tidy plan laid out for assembly. I am elderly and disabled, requiring being seated to work and move around. It was easy, no parts were missing and everything lined up. Just a screwdriver required. The 3 units fitted perfectly in the tight spot.Previous comments spoke about some "bending" required, and whatever that meant did concern me a little when ordering. However, there's nothing to be concerned about. It is all very straightforward and totally manageable.One of the top panels arrived slightly damaged. It had nothing to do with delivery. These units are very well packed. No ... that particular piece was damaged before packing, so quality control of the original supplier. It does show at the front, but the top is easy to remove, and at some stage I will think of a way to try and work on the dent.I am still giving it 5 stars because a long-held problem has been solved very satisfactorily, and the quality is better than other similar cabinets on the market. I am glad I did not compromise, but kept searching.

Great drawers!I bought this to replace my drawers. I had purchased them in March, and it was falling apart within weeks.This version is VERY similar, but feels sturdier. Plus I'm loving the large bottom drawer in comparison. Fit a lot more items standing up in it.I needed a smaller set of drawers to put under a standing desk, and regular drawers were just a bit too tall. Plus I wanted drawers I could easily move around and out to create more table space if needed.The whole thing is put together with fold over tabs, You may need a hammer to fold some of these tabs over (or cry in pain trying to fold them over with no tool, or a screwdriver...)

Way smaller than I had imagined. My fault I guess as I didn’t pay attention to dimensions. But I “assumed” being that it was a filing cabinet it would be the size in width of an actual filing cabinet. You are not able to hang manila files like in normal cabinets. So I’m disappointed. But buyer beware and take note of dimensions. And the quality of the draw sides a reasonably flimsy. But you get what you pay for.

I was disappointed with this product. The images looked like a normal sized filing cabinet that would allow for suspension files etc. but it turned out to be a miniature filing cabinet (the price should have given me a clue). It does make a cute set of drawers for office paraphernalia, however it's difficult to fit the drawers into the cabinet and it doesn't put together very securely. This is how I found it, but someone with more experience putting flatpacks together may find the product more satisfactory. On the plus size, it's very attractive in appearance and is easy to move around as it's on wheels.

Do not buy this trash item

What a joke of an item. Do not buy this rubbish. Flimsy, flat-packed, no railings for files, does not even fit an a4 file. No wonder no dimensions provided - it’s the size of a bedside table & should not be touted as a ‘filing cabinet’ at all - it misguides consumers. I’m using for shoes - might fit 2 pairs in. Drawers are not even on any runners. If I could be bothered I’d return it for refund. Absolutely don’t waste your time & money.

For a small space with small drawers

Amazing.. there is not one screw in it. You put it together by folding a flap over where necessary. The wheels are screwed on though. Easy enough to do after you work it out. It is metal but I wonder how strong it is without being screwed together. It is however just right for what I wanted but there are a lot of holes, to enable you to fold up the sides. I will need to line the drawers.

Pretty but frustrating design fault

The steel cabinet arrived safe and sound, with all required bits and pieces included. The various components were also easy to assemble. BUT when I pushed the drawers into the cabinet, they literally locked in place and would not budge. So I had to pull the whole cabinet apart again to be able to remove the drawers and to work out what the problem was. And to be honest, I still don't know what it is. The drawers seem to catch at the end of the drawer rail. I ended up taping loads of padding to the drawers and to the end of the drawer rails to close any possible gaps and it worked for five of the six drawers. The bottom drawer locked again, but I can't be bothered anymore and circumvent the problem by taking out drawer no. 5 to access less needed content in no. 6. ... MoreThe steel cabinet arrived safe and sound, with all required bits and pieces included. Small and tidy but requires assembly

Small tidy cabinet. It requires assembly which is easy enough but takes a little time. The cabinet I received is cream not white. It also does not have runners which was the impression I got from the description. The drawers sit on little ledges and glide back and forth. But for the price it is still ok to keep the office tidy and light use.

Waste of money, don't buy one

I was gob smacked when this tiny box was delivered by the courier. I obviously had not read the specifications, as I was expecting a full-size filling cabinet. Not a dinky toy version that is so small that I am not sure what to do with. I did have a lovely time trying to understand the pitiful instructions, and in the end, I actually assembled a mini filing cabinet. The question is why did I assemble it? probably hoping that it might grow into something I could use. I wasted 2 hours of my life and nearly $80 and I will not get either back
