Metal Gear Solid 2 Substance features the same ground breaking stealth-based action of its predecessor, with players guiding a series of characters through key terrorist situations. The new game marks series' hero Solid Snake's first appearance for Xbox, while PlayStation 2 owners will delight in Metal Gear Solid 2 Substance's five new `Snake Tales' that complement the main objectives, with Solid Snake despatched on a series of stand alone missions. Supplementing the twisting plot and new `Snake Tales' are over 200 new VR missions. Acting as tests of skill, these remove the game's central heroes from the front line and place them in a series of fiendish virtual reality environments where logic and reality can be altered to create the ultimate tests of endurance.
