Metamucil Sugar-Free Fiber Supplement - Orange- 180 Servings

This product sends my blood sugar through the roof, i.e. from 5.0 to 19.8mmol. The container says 'No added sugar' but the back of the container is impossible to read. There is no information regarding ingredients on this website. I am very unhappy with the product, mostly because this effect was unexpected, and there is no information to help me choose a better product. It is also expensive, and now I have a product that I can't use.

This was a food product (MetaMucil) you could buy in grocery stores, drug stores, and beyond. The product was delivered sealed and it was at a price I was interested in versus at other vendors. The time table from ordering to receipt of the product was excellent and timely. Not sure I can yet rate the actual product as I've never used it before. But, the product is commonly bought in many places.

Been There, Done That and Keep going Back!

I've been using Metamucil for years! And I can tell you from the experience, it is the best fiber supplement. We often don't get enough in our diets alone, and may need some help. If you are loose, or too tight, it helps with regularity and consistency. It's a psyllium fiber, not just an additive that can only be used for a short period of time. This can be used daily to help with regularity. I prefer to drink it mixed with flavored, unsweetened sodas or waters. Adds a different twist on the flavor.

Does what it is supposed to and taste decent.

Good stuff especially if your bad about getting fiber in your diet like I am. I tend to eat a high fat, high protein low carb diet which ends up being around 0 grams of fiber unfortunately so at least I have this stuff to get some fiber end. Before taking this I would have small bowel movements but not anymore. Whether or not I should take this on a regular basis or cycle it on or off is the question now for me. The taste is not much of anything and I use around 2 tablespoons per 8 oz glass of water. Of course, I follow up with another 8oz glass. You have to drink plenty of water with this stuff or it will have the opposite effect. Instead of cleaning you out, it will block you up lol. Life Saver for Digestive Regularity

I was looking for a product that regulated my digestive system and bowel schedule. I take a portion of Metamucil Multi-Health Fiber Powder every evening. I wanted natural plant Psyllium Fiber. The powder has several flavors but I prefer the orange sugar free. There is no sugar substitute aftertaste. I have not seen any proof of the claims for lower blood sugar levels and appetite control. This product can definitely improve your lifestyle if you are having digestive or bowel problems.

I started Metamucil 8 days ago and on day two it started working by making me regular again! My digestive system had changed after I had covid in 2020 and has never really been the same since causing me severe constipation. I had started the two week challenge Metamucil has and was really enjoying the benefits of feeling more energetic and lighter. I do want to note something extremely important for you all to be aware of. There is a warning for extreme allergic reactions to psyllium husk on the bottle. I have been sick and dealing with a sore throat when I started this so I figured when I noticed my tongue hurting it was due to that. However today before I went to take a nap I had done my daily Metamucil drink. I did not realize I was allergic to psyllium husk because I had never had it before but I wanted to let anyone know if your tongue begins to have any slight pain it can eventually change this severe pain I’m having. I am so sad about this because this truly works. There are so many wonderful benefits to this drink being it made me regular in a short amount of time and continued to. It causes no stomach cramps and a natural urge to go. I am super sad I can’t continue this and I will still give five stars because it does wonders and I just so happen to be allergic to it. Very tasty and it works!!

I recently got this Sugar Free Orange Smooth Powder Metamucil. It is lot better than the regular psyllium. Unlike Psyllium, this tastes really good and the powder is very smooth and easy to drink. For me, I started seeing results the second day itself. Nothing makes our day happier than a good bowel movement in the morning. For some reason, I feel less hungry and with the great bowel movement, it is helping me reduce my weight also. Currently, I am drinking this every other day. But I am already thinking of taking this every day. Loving it and no complaints so far. I am already thinking of trying other flavors of this. And yes, I already recommended this to my friends, family and colleagues.

Why is Metamucil so hard to find?

During the pandemic the orange flavored, made with real sugar has been very difficult, if not impossible to find. My husband and I have used this product every day for decades and depend on it. Recently I bought Metamucil, unflavored, made with real sugar and we have not been happy with this product. It is a coarser grain, which is okay, and it turns into a thick, gel-like substance very quickly, which is not okay. I find it very difficult to mix it with water and drink it fast enough before it becomes too thick and I have to keep adding more water. I will not buy this product again and am hoping the original product we’ve used for years will become more readily available soon.

Works, Works, Works!

I started using different Metamucil products to see how each one performed and have recently used Metamucil 4-in-1 Orange Sugar Free Powder. It tastes good and does a great job of helping my bowels to eliminate waste. I don't hungry as early in the day as I normally did, which is a big plus for me. There are no negative effects and the product works exactly as advertised. I'm pleased with this product and have purchased more of it.
