Dark brown with a firm texture unlike some I've tried which have been almost runny. Tastes great, wonderful on toast, in drinks or by the spoonful. It's also in a glass jar (which I much prefer to the plastic which some suppliers use) so it can be re-used for jams, etc. I've tried a couple of different suppliers but I am now staying with this one as I am so pleased with the honey at a very reasonable price.

We love Manuka and as the price has risen it?s been harder to find potent Manuka Honey with good flavour at a fair price. We gave this honey a try and everyone likes the lovely true flavour, it?s Methylglyoxal rating and reasonable price. It?s a crystallised honey, but the crystals are very fine, so it?s lovely to eat just on toast or in a warm drink.

I?ve tried many makes of Manuka honey over the years as the health benefits are unique. The taste is the best yet with a truly smooth lasting taste and makes a slice of toast a wholesome healthy meal. Love it.
So with Manukau you want it to be unprocessed and this appears to be processed. Even in the freezing cold it hasn't congealed.
I don't know if Manuka honey always varies but I'm onto my forth jar in two years and no two have been alike. The first was thin and silky, the second was unbelievably gritty like coarse sand, the third was pale in colour and a little gritty and the forth is darker and still a bit gritty. I kept buying it because I thought it helped when I had a sore throat, but next time I need a jar I'll buy something different.
This isn't manuka honey at least not the one I'm used to use from NZ. Texture and colour is very different. I'm using Manuka Health, Comvita and HNZ brands for years now and all of them have the same gold-brown texture with a very thick consistency. This honey is not at all the same and I'm sure if I'm going to analyse it MGO concentration is zero. Rubbish product, returning it back...!
Really lovely honey plus amazing at healing wounds / sore skin etc just pop on under a plaster. Use it all the time on my kids. Tried this after major surgery when my wounds wouldnt heal and nhs were at a loss what to do. Eventually after about 6 weeks I put this on under a bandage and even after one day the difference was amazing. I wouldnt do this straight away as sugar can feed infection but was amazing in my case a bit later. Absolutely amazing.
