Michael Kors Gorgeous Eau De Parfum 3.4 oz Spray for Women

I have a sample of this and will probably buy it soon. I don’t think that it’s too pricey. I don’t think that it needs improvement either because it’s perfectly suited for many different settings and seasons. It isn’t too floral, but there is a very subtle white floral undertone. The description made me think that it would be more pronounced than it is. I’m kinda pleased about that since it is November now. I don’t wear very fragrances with a total concentration on florals during the winter and fall. I can’t detect the tobacco leaf that the description mentions. There is a bit of an earthy note that smells a little bit like pepper to me. I think that there’s a hint of coffee there too. This fragrance is not what you’d expect it to be. It has some light florals and citrus at the beginning but then it has so much depth from the Amber and Tonka. It also has an unexpected punch of tobacco and creaminess from sandalwood. I’ve never smelled anything quite like this. It’s definitely an acquired taste, I don’t think this is necessarily everyone’s favorite scent but it sure is mine. It feels refined yet mysterious. It’s probably best suited for fall but I wear it all year round.

This perfume has beautiful packaging and it has a strong fragrance that really last. I really think spending the money on a good perfume is worth it because it last so much longer a good perfume can make you feel well gorgeous. Unfortunately this fragrance wasn’t for me. I got this floral fragrance and then it dried down to this floral/ powdery scent I wasn’t and fond of. [brand:michael-kors] Gorgeous is has notes of white floral bouquet, tobacco leaf sensual cedarwood. I’m guessing I’m getting the powdery scent from the white floral bouquet note that I’m not liking. So personally I wouldn’t recommend this fragrance,but with fragrance everyone has their own scents they love this could be for you. I hope my review helps with your choice.

Michael Kors Gorgeous! is a very intriguing feminine fragrance with radiant floral notes of jasmine sambac, tuberose, ylang orange flower. I love the captivating and seductive warmth of tobacco accord surrounding the fragrance. Finishing with dominate notes of cedar wood and guaiac oil giving the scent comfort and strength. Michael Kors Gorgeous! is a delicate flower bouquet with notes of comforting woods and feminine radiance throughout. It is the perfect mix of feminine and bold. Michael Kors Gorgeous! truly makes me feel gorgeous when I wear it, it makes me feel like I'm glowing from within!

Upon first glance, the script is giving me 90's Revlon vibes, which makes me think this is going to be similar to the city girl perfumes of that time, which I do enjoy. When I sprayed it, though, I wasn't expecting it to smell so similar to Mugler's Alien. The jasmine sambac is the first thing you smell for a while. After some time, it does get a little honey sweet, despite there being any honey or gourmand notes in the perfume. This may be the tobacco/orange flower/tuberose talking, though. The performance is where I get a little disappointed in it, especially considering the cost - moderate sillage, but up to 4 hours on the skin. This is what I consider to be the love child of Alien, Paco Rabanne's Olympea, and Elizabeth and James Nirvana Amethyst - white florals galore, slight depth in smokiness from the tobacco, and just noticeably sweet. It's not a overwhelming perfume, or a noteworthy perfume, for that matter. I think this could be versatile enough for any day during the year. If you are in need of a perfume that screams "inoffensive and confident sweet girl, with a dash of depth", this may be the play for you.

I love my gorgeous Eau De Parfum!

Few months ago I received a flyer in the mail with sample scents of 2 EDP, Gorgeous and Super Gorgeous. I fell in love with Gorgeous right away. I have been looking around both instore and online and found one from Myers. Ordered it and few days later it arrived in my doorstep. The scent lasted long, like days. It stayed in my shirt even after I handwash it or put it in mild wash cycle. The scent is literally gorgeous, I love it! Very sexy scent. Worth every penny.

Interesting Blind Buy..

Before I begin, just know this is my first Michael Kors perfume and that I have not smelled the original Gorgeous perfume. I was looking for a perfume that would work well in the cold weather and knew I wanted something a bit heavier. After lots of searching I came across this and the notes really intrigued me. I was in the mood for a more masculine scent but wanted something that would also feel cozy and yet pretty. I watched reviews on the original Gorgeous and a lot of people said it was underwhelming. For me, it is a little on the mature side but there is something in it that keeps it from going to that extreme. Then again, this is what I was looking for. It is a nice fragrance but I could also see mixing it with a sweeter one to jazz it up. It's smoky but not cigarette smokey. It doesn't even remind me of working in tobacco.. more of a general smokey/ woodiness that you imagine when you think of a fond memory. This is an interesting one for me.. I'm glad I bought it. This is the first perfume I have owned that I would probably only wear in the colder months though.. I generally think it's fine to wear whatever/whenever you want but this would prob be hard to pull off in the summer.. I sprayed it on about 5 hours ago (only on clothes) and still smell it on my shirt although it has died down slightly and doesn't waft quite as much. Sorry for the long review but I wanted to give it a fair shot since no one else has reviewed it yet. :) Hope this helps and that I'm at least slightly accurate!

Lovely perfume!

The perfume smells beautiful! Goes on loud but soon calms down to a lovely well balanced sophisticated scent!It does not project very much. But it leaves a scent trail behind. I have gotten numerous compliments telling me that i smell so good. I couldn't do anything but say thank you while blushing with joy! This is a sweet and not overpowering perfume. I love it and most of those who smell it loves it as well. It's strong in the opening but don't be afraid to apply enough perfume because this is one you need to spray on kind of heavy for it to get noticed and last for a while because it mainly sits closer to the skin.

I'm sad to report this is a total scrubber. All I smell is heavy white flowers that I've smelled a million times before...almost like church on Easter mixed with straight Jasmine maybe?. Where's the tobacco and woody-ness? Where the smoky dry down? There's zero complexity. It's so overly cloying and sweet and not in a good way but rather a headache inducing way. I'll be returning it tomorrow but will have to make a pilgrimage a few miles down the road to the closest Ulta so I can smell before I buy. Also, totally not impressed with the dated bottle design. It's not even ironically retro, it straight up looks like a bad drugstore perfume from the early 90's. Although, I wouldn't have cared if it came in a plastic ketchup bottle if the fragrance was, in fact, gorgeous. Oh and it gets 2 stars because it's definitely lasting a while...of course...because all the perfumes I adore are gone within minutes and the ones I can't stand will cling to me probably long after I'm dead and gone. On the plus side, my family will know how to find me by following the trail of Gorgeous 😒
