Absolutely love these tires. Have a few thousand miles on my set and couldn't be happier. For street riding they are very confidence inspiring, and grip to the road incredibly well without requiring tons of heat. When they are warm though they STICK. I lean in to every corner feeling planted and on line. Will definitely be buying again when the time comes.

The Michelin Pilot Power 2CT Tires are a great choice if you tire a sport motorcycle . I bought them for my 2002 7r750 Kawasaki and they ride great. The tire makes a huge improvement of your ride and these tires for sure do the job. At first it may feel a little awkward on the rode but you’ll start to get comfortable after about 15 mins on the rode . The actually shape and look of the tire are really nice too. They have a nice design in the trend to really match any sport bike. Overall the Michelin Pilot Power 2CT Tires are a great choice if you are looking for a new set of tires , not to expensive either with great quality, which matters. Also, the shipping with revzilla was amazing too, really like the feature of having the ability to see each individual step in ... MoreThe Michelin Pilot Power 2CT Tires are a great choice if you tire a sport motorcycle . These tires are the absolute best tire for the money. I daily my 04 GSXR 600 and I've not had a slip or slide in the rain. Its a really nice commuter tire. They just don't last long enough. The centers wear a little fast, but these tires give me a little more confidence through the turns then any other I've tried. I went through one front and two rears in roughly 10k miles.

Very pleased with the corner roll in and grip. They are just now getting scuffed in and seem to have a very good grip with minimal wear. Have not had a chance to see what they feel like in the rain yet . Also on corner exits the rear feels planted even under acceleration . Very pleased.

Not Tires, Glue

If you want tires that stick like gum on hot blacktop, these are your next set of tires. If you want to drag knee like Rossi, these are your next set of tires. If you want to ride cross country, these are not your next set of tires.Besides the aesthetic appeal of hypersport tires these tires do a little but of everything but they do a few things great. These are perfect for lighter bikes like my application of them on a supermoto. They grip like no other and funnel water out of the treat reasonably well. They aren't going to last you 10k miles but they will keep you glued to the road for about 5k miles before you need to replace them. Confidence in motorcycles is key so don't skimp out on the one thing holding you to the road. They won't protect from stupidity but ... MoreIf you want tires that stick like gum on hot blacktop, these are your next set of tires. The tall profile makes for a great contact patch when winding up the canyons with the bike leaned over.I cannot attest to how these would preform on a larger sport bike, but for beginner bikes or supermoto applications, these are in my opinion the best out there.

Over all great tire
5 May 2023

The tire is a well know tire, and has been on the market for years. This tire, so far, has not let me down. No pun intended. I give it 4 stars. I wish there was a little more miles you are rated to get, and I have some testing to do as they are new to me with pushing them on the Ducati Monster I placed these shoes on. Let's see!

Replacement for Original.

This tire was the original equipment on my 2007 Triumph Speed Triple. I was very satisfied and replaced the original with another one. Cornering grip is excellent. My riding style is moderately aggressive street riding. I don't ride this bike in the rain so I cant rate wet traction.

I have ridden on the Pilot Power 2CT for over 15 years, they have been there, rain or shine. These tires really lend confidence into the lean for clover leaf exits and entry's on the gas. Break them edges in cautiously and they will be ready whenever you are. I do not use these in colder weather, your experience may vary in the cold.

Spring, Fall, Summer tire

I have run 2CTs on a Suzuki GSX-R 600 and now I run them on my Yamaha FZ09 and have since replacing the Bridgestone Battleax that came on the bike from the factory. The huge selling point for these tires is the dual compound tech. I do a lot of straight line riding when I commute and then ride through the twists of the Allegheny mountains in Pennsylvania on the weekends. Its hard to remember the performance from the stock Battleax but I have never had an issue gripping in corners once the tires are warmed up. I ride other bikes with cheap tires and it makes me thankful I choose a good sport tire. They truly show their worth when I get caught out in the rain. I am never prepared to get rained on and these tires are reliable in quick bouts of rain where I try to ride ... MoreI have run 2CTs on a Suzuki GSX-R 600 and now I run them on my Yamaha FZ09 and have since replacing the Bridgestone Battleax that came on the bike from the factory. I would say on average these tires last 5-6k miles of about 60/40 straight line commuting/hard mountain riding where they get abused. The edges never wear out before the centers bald for me. Tires will change the way a bike rides so make the right choice the first time, even if you are spending a little more money.

Tried several sets of several tires. These are my favorites
27 June 2020

Over the last three and a half years I've put about 10k miles a year of "pleasure" riding on my bikes and I've made it a goal to try different tires after every two rears. I worked my way up from harder to softer and after trying the Q3+s I moved back down to these and I think I'm staying. Very sticky and warm up very fast (maybe three or four minutes of riding). Very confident in turns and I wear out the chicken strips almost immediately after switching them out with a fresh set. You can lock these up without fear of "flat spots" as well which is a huge plus to me because I'm a bit of a hooligan and always enjoy pushing the bike to and beyond the edge. Tread life for me is about 3-3.5k miles but take that how you like in regards to what I've already said. These are perfect for those of us who aren't looking to shave hundredths of a second off and lap time and just want to go out and ride the streets and side roads with some passion. definitely recommend this tire to those like me.
