Wow! It is such good quality, great size, my boy is on the large long-boi side so it's always a hassle finding a good sized litter box for him and this is perfect.The material is thick and great for blocking smells. Easy to clean too!I'm a fan of how closed it is, my cat is ridiculous for wanting to cover up his deeds and would be scratching away spraying litter everywhere and honestly it has been so so good not to have litter flying everywhere on all sides. Look he still gets some out from the opening but much much reduced and the lid seems to make him feel better because he isn't bothering to hide his stuff as much. Less scratching!Style is so so good! I love this litter! The scent is subtle and really controls odors and is the ONLY litter i have used that has no tracking beyond my small discreet litter mat.I have a 13 pound male 5 year with hip dysplasia. He jumps out of the box (even the litter robot can’t keep him grounded.).So Michu is the only litter my feline arial artisit doesnt track and i tried THEM ALL!While i use worlds best in my litter robot 4 which he shares with his mother, nithing compares to Michu tofu litter. He precers his modkat Michu filled over the litter robot that has worlds best.Moat important he almoat died from a urinary blockage and michu tofu litter was the only litter comfortable for him to sit on. I am so grateful for this product and highly recommend it

I really really wanted to love this litter, and seeing all the five-star reviews, I thought I would. But I don't. It stinks, and it definitely does not perform in odour control. I am diligent in daily cleaning and top-ups, and I also have a Pet Kit smart odour eliminator in each of the five litter boxes which are used by only two cats, but I do use a lot of litter. The upside is that the cats transitioned from my old method of thick crystals base with a thick paper litter topper, which, granted, was a dusty affair but incredibly effective, yet one I wanted to move away from. I must say that Michu tofu litter is cute and, more importantly, has no dust and is light-weight, hence my two stars. The color is so bright and vibrant which helps me identify any tracked pieces on my floors for easy cleaning . But speaking of the tracking it’s a very small amount due to the size preventing it from getting stuck on kitties paws . The cleanup was a breeze which was such a relief considering the last brand i utilized was awful with it always being paste like and stuck on the bottom of the box. All in all I am so happy with my choice to change brands . Big important factor I forgot to mention, the price . I went ahead and signed up for subscription. I was skeptical buying this litter box because of the price and also concern that my 22 year old cat wouldn’t be able to get in it. However, after reading reviews and recommendations, I decided to go for it. I am so glad we did. We experimented with Michu tofu litter and Fresh Step crystal litter. This tofu litter is the clear winner even though it took the cats longer to get used to it.I LOVE the no-dust factor, and it clumps the cat pee unlike the crystal litter. One of our kitties developed kidney stones (not related to this litter) and we were able to detect it because the original tofu litter is white & we could see blood in her pee. Not sure if we would have been able to notice it quite as easily with the other color litter versions (especially the pink/watermelon one).All in all, we are SUPER happy with this litter and can't imagine using anything else ever again for our babies.

While this is the best-looking litter box out there, there are no handles, and not even a lip, to grab onto, to move it (from the photos of the box, in advertisements, it appears that they used to have finger holes). Also, the holes in the scoop are too large, and the scoop, itself, is too small—and the scoop caddy is open at the bottom (!!!), so that the dirty litter ends up on your floor. I was hoping for a caddy that would hook onto the litter box, but it does not. I bought a separate scoop (from another company), which hooks onto the sides of litterboxes, and has a closed bottom, but this litter box has sides that are far too thick for the caddy to hook onto. Love this litter box! My cat wasn't so sure at first. For 3 days he would get in it, walk around in circles, sniff it extensively, do some digging, then exit without toiletting. It was quite amusing. Then he finally used it for what it's designed for. Success! I think it's brilliant for a cat like mine who manages to spread almost half the litter across the floor when attempting to bury his deposits. The 3 very high sides are excellent at preventing this, and the main reason I chose it. I wish the front entrance wall was a little higher, but I can understand this is to allow ease of access for all kittens/cats no matter age or stage in life. I imagine handle placement was an aesthetic decision, rather than a practical one. I love the look of the unit, as well as it's functionality. My cat's happy; with a choice of 2 litter boxes, the Michu is the only one he uses. My feet are very thankful for no longer stepping barefoot onto litter crystals showered across the floor! Nice litter pan

I had been looking for a good litter box for years and found this one finally. I love the design, as it is an open litter box (my old one was a top entry pan and my cat is about 13 lbs - he didn't have a lot of room in the old one and it was confining for a large cat, especially). This new pan is roomy, and the sides are high and sturdy enough that, even if he wanted to put his weight on the sides using his front paws, it's NOT going to tip over. I really like the pan. The scoop and holder they send with it needs redesigned. I threw mine away, sadly. The openings on the scoop are too large, allowing too much to fall through, and the holder has no bottom, so it won't catch any stray litter falling from the scoop.
