This scooter is for my grandson who is 5 years old, he has the two wheeled sprite of which he loves it at the skatepark and is already trying tricks!However he always wants to travel back home on my scooter with the 200mm wheels . When the cruiser has come out because unfortunately his parents have split he lives in two houses so I thought I would buy him the cruiser as a treat!He loves it the sturdiness of it and the big wheels let him go further faster. Bought for my 5 year old who wanted to move on from his 3 wheel scooter.The scooter is very well made. Great quality. For this quality the price is right. Purchased this one for my 7yr old son as he learnt how to ride a 2-wheel scooter, so it was time for an upgrade from his 3-wheel Maxi. Micro, you continue to deliver superior quality and reliability! The front mudguard especially is an awful design that is kind of loosely slipped on and really noisy. I had to put a cable tie around it in the end, and I see other models have a much better design. But there are other rattles - the main bracket is screed tight to the baseboard but it still wobbles and rattles The solid wheels probably cause it all, but in which case they could really try and secure all the parts or add some rubber seals to stop everything clanking. Ouch.- the handle bar grips are pretty hard.But overall, those negatives seem to be outweighed by the general feeling that its built to last and is safe.Also the folding mechanism (once you know how to do it) is really good.Swiss design still has some room for improvement.

As I live in Australia, I brought the scooter for my grandson who turned 5 and lives in New Zealand. The day he received it he video called me and I saw one excited boy , dragged the parcel into the lounge room from the front door. He excitedly ripped open the big parcel ran to the kitchen to grab a kitchen knife for his mum to put it together lol. I told him he has to wait for his dad to come home, so his mum told me she will video him on it tomorrow when she takes him to the park....the next day the video came and I have never seen a little boy so happy. The best part was of course his name on it as he had a cheapy one which got stolen. I am very happy with my purchase my daughter in law said it was very sturdy and would probably last a while. When it was time to upgrade my little one's scooter from the 3 wheeler micro to a 2 wheel, we didn't have to look far. I read great things about the cruiser and couldn't find anything better. I cannot fault it. It looks great, fantastic quality, rides like a dream over all the footpath bumps. The big wheels with the perfectly positioned handlebars allows much more control and confidence and she prefers to ride her scooter over her bike when we head out!
We had always had hand me down 3 wheel scooters and are now onto brand new 2 wheeled versions that fold.Bought them with accessories (lights & bells) and the kids love them. Being able to choose their colours and accessories was great for them.
