Look, I hate saying it but it’s the harsh truth. The 2K games are sadly just a money grabber to the basketball community. It’s literally a repeat joke of same players, same city style, same spending so much dollars on VC just to be better than others. It’s literally a pay to win game. I’m sorry, but the gameplay is still the same loading times still seem to controller passes still the same online features are always like before.

Listen the whole game is trash. The same devs are doing absolutely nothing to fix the game. Everybody complains about the game. Not realistic at all. If your trying to buy a basketball game you might as well play basketball irl if your that desperate to play basketball. Its 100% better than playing 2k21. You could play2k20 but both games are unrealistic but the devs are just picking their noses and doing nothing to change the gameplay. I personally spent $100 on kobe addition, complete garbage. The normal version of the game should be $20 because the game is that bad.

It works great. Exactly what I expected when purchasing. Shipping was on-time and undamaged. As for the game itself, solid gameplay and impressive graphics, but microtransactions and minimal updates from NBA 2K20 make it feel more like a roster update than a true upgrade. If you're a die-hard fan, it’s decent, but casual players might be disappointed by the lack of innovation.

You know exactly what to expect if you have played the previous versions

A really good game with lots of depth on its mechanics and many different modes to pass the time. The issue comes from it being nothing revolutionary. Yes, some things in the modes are slightly different, yes you have WNBA (which you can only use in some modes) and you have also more items to collect. The core gameplay is the same. In this edition, you are reviewing the PS4 version. The graphics on the PS4 seem grainy and the quality is not good. Also, the loading times are not good at all on the PS4 ( I am not comparing the PS5 to the PS4 version, I am just discussing the PS4 version as an individual game).

This game looks similar to last year with a very short but good mycareer story. They changed few things, the new shoot meter is ok if you aren't playing online. I mean you can easy shoot with the right stick but online you have no time to see the meter and adjust it, I hope they fix that. Otherwise you are mostly shooting blind with memory muscle. I like the new ray traced reflections in the courts of myteam triple threat, that's where it looks better than last year. Well I played it on ps4 pro I'm not sure if regular ps4 has those ray traced reflections as well. I got the mamba edition it comes with 100k vc and a bunch of packs if you like that. The ps5 version is also included and it won't carry over mycareer it's suppose to have a new one. [Rewarded Review] Close, but missed the game winner...

It's official: Next Gen = Great graphics...that's it. This game is absolutely beautiful (Series X graphics are nuts), however 2K has gone the EA Madden route: Too Focus on microtransactions and the park/city. The commentary on this game is off- Air balls are treated with "it looks like it was last touched by..." and the Halftime show is only there to showcase the TNT team with Kenny, Shaq and EJ.; you get commentary and the incorrect game replays on the opposite team/player. the gameplay itself hasn't changed much since 2K19. Love the addition of the WNBA, but I'd actually take the G-league as a direct play option and the Drew league option from 2K19.Kids will love this. Adults will probably realize the last great crop of games game between 2004 and 2008.

[Rewarded Review] Great game: Hard dificulty, SD Card required.

Wow, this game is really good.It's very complicated, I've been playing in the rookie level for some weeks, and I have only won one game. This is a test for sports fans, I am not a big basketball fan, but I do recommend this game to get into the sport and enjoy some video game challenges.Heads up. You will need a SD Card, this game even if you buy the physical version, you will need to have it in your SD Card. That was an upsetting surprise after I picked it up, but well, eventually every Switch owner will need one. So I got around my this incident.As usual, you can purchase points to unlock some features, but you do NOT need to do that if you just want to play. So, I really enjoy that.

I picked the PS5 version and the Xbox Series X version up at the store a while back when they released this game. I was hoping that the quality of the outside cover would be in better condition than received in the mail. I was wrong. The covers I received has huge creases on the front while the sides and corners had scrapes and dents. For me to pay $100 on a video game. I expect it to be in good condition. Especially when buying it twice and it's for the Mamba Edition. I actually bought the game originally for the Xbox One and received an upgrade to the new console for free. However I wanted to purchase it for PS5 as well as the Xbox Series X and to not open it because I wanted to collect it. I mean, it's for Kobe. As a huge Kobe Bryant fan, I was ecstatic to get this version even for the somewhat overpriced tag. I wasn't get a PS5 anytime soon anyway. Coming from the PS4 Pro version, the visuals aren't that much of an upgrade. Yes, it is slightly improved but it's not a big a jump as the jump we saw from the PS3 to the PS4.With the power of the XSX and speed of the SSD, the game loads super-fast. Because of this, there is no more loading screens. You are pretty much in the game with the press of a button.Gameplay-wise, the game is totally still scripted. The CPU will get a million offensive rebounds and they will hit every shot (even heavily contested ones). I was hoping that gameplay scripting would be a thing of the past with the next-gen gen consoles but apparently it is not.Overall, the biggest Improvement is the improved loading times.
