I got this item thinking it was brand new. Turns out it was refurbished. I could tell by the packaging. The bubble wrap, charger, and laptop was all that I got. I did not get a box with a manual script nor did I get to take of any tags off the laptop because someone already used it. I could tell by the laptop there was some scratches on it and the charger looked old and used. The battery life is not accurate as it says it is. I was really hoping to get a brand new laptop but the false description on this purchase says otherwise. This item is listed as if is was new, no where did it say it was used, refurbished, or renewed. I wish it said something about being used before I got it. I really wanted a new laptop not refurbished.

I can only see it when opening the laptop with the screen at like a 60 degree angle with the keyboard. The laptop itself is sleek. Almost too slim. I took this new laptop without unpacking it to the UPTECH computer store in Sarasota, where I paid $200 plus tax for them to transfer my data from my SurfacePro 4. Because it was new, they did not test the keyboard. As soon as I started typing on it, the keyboard did not record the number 1/exclamation point key. The onscreen keyboard makes weird noises and records nothing at all in MS Word. This high-rated item has a built-in defect, so it cannot replace my old SurfacePro 4 with detachable type cover, and I am out valuable time and hundreds of $$$.
Harvey Norman got this to us as quick as a flash. We had a previous non-Microsoft laptop die which was covered by Product Care. When the battery died on two occasions Harvey Norman facilitated its repair, though on the second occasion it gave us a straight out refund. Very happy.
This laptop is the closest thing you'll get to a mac without being a mac. Build quality is superb, only thing I wish I had was a slightly bigger trackpad. I had a dell 9510 but had two defective units so I gave up on getting one and started looking for something else. People like to get caught up in ram and performance, etc. Honestly, for everyday use you'll never be able to tell the difference. I mostly (90%) use it for watching movies and surfing the net. I have the AMD version 8GB. Laptop works great, can't tell a difference in speed at all. This laptop is super light weight compared to other 15' laptops. I love the 3x2 ratio. Charges up super quick and then battery really does last long. I don't use the touch screen at all so I actually turned it off to save ... I bought this computer after my 2013 MacBook failed. A switch to windows based computer has been pretty easy. I don’t like edge, and hate that bing is their default se( really? Bing?) but it’s easy to download and use chrome. I have had a few instances of the computer freezing which is my main reason for only 4 stars. My old MacBook never ever froze. Not sure how the material around the keyboard is going to hold out but it is kind of nice. The computer is reasonably fast, battery isn’t great I am on video calls often and it always needs plugged in. Love the light weight and slim profile, great for traveling.
Good Points: The computer is sleek and looks good, and the touch screen makes it even better. Works quickly too.Improvement Points: It heats up very quickly and lags when watching something. And product is advertised to be 10+ hours battery life but it only last 6-7 hours, with it getting very hot in 30 mins.
Good Points: Over all, a smart laptop, slim and light. Decent battery life on general use. Charges quickly. Super quick start up. Touch screen is responsive and accurate, even on the smaller screen. A great everyday laptop for general use and light office duties. Wish I’d bought the 15in screen for work use.Improvement Points: The charger feels flimsy and disconnects fairly easily.
