This is a detail that I absolutely appreciate, having fallen victim to flimsy stands in the past (I'm looking at you and the built in stand on the original Switch, Nintendo.)After 12 months, I generally and genuinely love it, and would absolutely upgrade to whatever model of Surface Pro is around when it's time to retire this one. It does everything I need within reason, flawlessly. There are a few caveats though.The (few) snags:1. No double tap to wake. This is pretty standard technology at this point, and I realise that it's the epitome of first world problems, but it's frustrating to double tap on the screen and then have to press the power button (usually twice because of the proximity of the power and volume buttons.) There's every reason for Microsoft to get it together and push the feature to all devices, not just some Pro 9's and not others, seemingly without rhyme or reason.2. The charger sucks beyond measure. I cannot properly articulate how awful this charger is, but I'll try. It's inaccessible, hard to get seated properly, the magnetized end of the charger will stick to the side of the device every which way but snapping the charger into the port easily the way it's meant to, and will fall out if you look at it too much, don't look at it enough, or think about it in general. Great on paper, not great in practise. Ditching the proprietary charger for a standard USB-C fast charger would be so much more secure and accessible for those with hand dexterity issues.3. The bluetooth on the Pro 9 can be a bit unreliable, and does occasionally require a restart of both the device and connected device. A minor complaint, but all in all an inconvenience more than anything.If you can overlook those couple of snags, than you'll likely find that the Surface Pro 9 is worth the expense.

When we phoned Best Buy Help Line (Geek Squad) they would not help without charging a fee. Likewise, when I first went to the store, I received the same response. However, when I walked in the Markville store the second time, a different Geek Squad staff was very helpful this time, took the time to listen and figured out why I could not install Windows 365 - because when it was purchased the sales person did not scan the code on the 365 subscription card! He then asked the cashier to re-do the receipt so that they could scan the W365 code. I bought this after my previous tablet was struggling to cope with what I needed it to. I'd look at buying brand new but couldn't justify the cost. It occurred to me to give second hand a go and I'm so glad I did. It was in perfect condition and came with it original box. The tablet does everything I need to. Light business and browsing. Netflix etc. Bought a keyboard and pen to complete my set up

After using many brands such as Dell, Lenovo, Asus, Acer, HP and Sony desktops and laptops, I decided to go with Microsoft. No more issues with missing/malfunctioning drivers. I am now using a Surface Laptop 4 as my main computer, but I wanted a tablet smaller than my Surface pro 3 that preceeded the Laptop 4. I found this old worn out looking Pro 2 and it is amazing. A fully functioning i5 with a 256GB ssd and 10.6" screen running W11!! It cost me a negligible $65 with shipping! And the battery seems to be chugging along just fine. Can't beat it.

The unit is so "top heavy" that if don't have the kickstand opened up far enough it will come forward slamming into your hands or keyboard.The screen goes completely from edge to edge and it being a touch screen means if you attempt to adjust it's position you end up "clicking" accidentally on god only knows what.Also, the controls for the action to take when the keyboard is collapses onto the screen simply does not work. Excellent! Does everything I need for work and home, lightweight and functional. Only minor issue I've experienced once in a while is overheating/video issues whilst on back to back Zooms but if you close other windows it's usually ok. To be expected for a tablet that doesn't have as much space for heat dispersion as a laptop. I like it so much though, I'm considering getting another one for a second screen/device to use whilst in meetings and also allow me to write on whiteboard/take notes. Will be good when hopefully next release in Oct might provide a bit more RAM at the lower price point for the rare occasions/software which require a bit more grunt. Then it'll truly be able to be a complete laptop replacer for me.

Or else it'd say, keyboard and pen sold separately? Well no, no pen with either the tablet or keyboard. Had to buy the pen from a different shop which was quite expensive when I thought it was already included. Adjusting to a new Surface Pro model after using a different one for five years took some time, but this device is truly exceptional! Its processing speeds have significantly improved, and it offers a much better wifi connection compared to my previous device. However, the standout feature of this device is its ability to have multiple screens simultaneously. Unlike having only two screens available, I can now have up to four different screens displayed concurrently, which has proven immensely useful for me. This feature greatly aids me in writing and conducting research, as I no longer need to constantly toggle between various windows.
Found this tablet at a very reasonable price, practically brand new (this one was in "open box" condition). Seller was not lying about that. Love the colour of the device, and the screen quality is AMAZING! My last Surface (Surface 3, the regular one from like 10 yrs ago) was a good device but had come to the end of its life. Got this badboy and I'm not regretting it!
