Assumed win 11 was going to be terrible after listening to other talking about it but it's essentially the same as win 10. The only down side is that I used the fullscreen strat menu aloy in 10 and it's not an option in 11... There are some 3rd party programs that mostly replicates it in 11 so all is well.

Got this Win11 license for a new build. Win11 installed fine on the new machine. I am glad that I waited about 3 months to install Win11 as the initial released version have problems with Canon Inkjet printers and also issues with AMD processors. Patches are available by the time I installed Win11. If you are happy with Win10, you should be happy with Win11. It is a bit more Mac OS like but no major surprises. As usual, PB Tech's sale and service is great

I personally prefer Windows 10, but my average customer likes the clean looks and look-at-me-I-have-the-new-iPhone feeling of getting the latest Windows software. But that's really the only good thing. Firstly, it comes on a CD, and took ages to install. Secondly, it wouldn't recognise my secondary drive as an option. Thirdly, after installing, it said "Your PC is incompatible" but gave me no reason why. I eventually used the key to install Windows 10 instead (which did recognise the secondary drive).

I've purchased 2 Win11 Home licenses for 2 laptops. I had no issue with the second one, though I had a problem activating the first one with error related to reaching the activation server, tried to solve the problem among which turning off the firewall as advised but did not work. However after the last system update to 22H2 the product key was activated but I do not see how this could be related to the problem.

So far has been a smooth experience. Set up was easy with no need to sign in to a Microsoft acc. Haven’t noticed any issues or crashes so far. At this stage, if you are building a new system that has support for windows 11 like 12th intel cpus, it should be no problem to go with this.

Great software on the cheap!
11 May 2022

After doing some research, I found that this was the best place to get a windows key for cheap! I wasn’t expecting to get a retail version of windows from this site, but I did!

I 100% recommend this, it's cheap and definitely works, it came immediately.

I got the windows license key email within 3 seconds of purchasing this. The first code that was sent didn't work so I screenshotted my issue as proof of it not working and then was sent another one that worked like a charm. This is honestly so cheap as well. 10./10

ONLY REVIEW YOU NEED - READ THIS

If you were like me, before buying this, you may have been a little skeptical. Me too - this sounded too good to be true. On the Microsoft website, this retails at easily $100+. But on this random, lowkey sketchy site, you can buy a key for just under a third of the price?? Was just gonna just cop the L if I got scammazed. Anyways, turns out that it was pretty legit and my Windows 11 got activated. Overall, pretty fast (emailed within 30 seconds) and it works (which is really what you care about) highkey would recommend. Literally only wrote this review because I was surprised that I didn't cop an L. Good stuff. Apparently, if your key doesn't work, you can just reply to the email they send you with a screenshot and they replace the key for you - so I guess your ... MoreIf you were like me, before buying this, you may have been a little skeptical. Out of the gate better than Win10 when launched
7 November 2021

Only started on Win11 from launch on 5th Oct. So far 3 fresh AMD builds on Asus B550M-A with Ryzen 5 5600G APUs. Immediate reaction: re-skinned Win10. Looks very pretty. But you need to dig down a bit to get to the same level as Win10 offered immediately. For system management they've moved things around and it takes some hunting to find familiar items. But so far so good. It all seems to be there somewhere. Only 2 'complaints' so far. When doing a fresh install, do not connect the internet, and Google how to set up with a Local Account. This way you can choose your user account folder name. This way you can choose your user account folder name. If you connect your internet and input your Microsoft account as strongly requested, then it sets your user account folder name to be the first 5 characters of your Microsoft email address which then cannot be changed. And depending on your email address that can look stupid. It's a long-standing bug with Windows. Second problem. Yellow folders containing files cannot be made, using the various View options, to show any indication of contents via thumbnails. This is particularly annoying if your folder contains pictures, as you cannot get any clue as to what's in the folder. Hopefully with enough complaints Microsoft will fix this. I've had a couple of complete system freezes when browsing with Edge. So not too bad for a new OS. Just be sure to use the latest motherboard drivers and keep them updated together with your video drivers and Windows Updates to ensure you get bug fixes as soon as they become available. At this stage well pleased for regular surfing, emailing and simple usage. Would suggest those with more complex usage such as photography or gaming to hold off for a few months till initial problems get sorted.
