These bags are easy to switch out, but the downside is knowing when a new one is needed. The window on the vacuum is red when the vacuum is turned on, but that doesn’t necessarily mean that it’s full. It is a good idea to write down the date that it is changed, so you get an idea of your household’s use and around when you will need a new bag. Overall, the ease of switching them out and the fact that they are clean and never make a mess to change makes them worth it!

Bags arrived pretty quickly and upon examination they are definitely authentic Miele bags. Also, I got these for a few dollars less than Amazon and other online retailers. I've been very happy buying Miele supplies and accessories from Walmart.com

These are very well made cloth type bags. Miele bags also come with a dust compartment filter and an exhaust filter which is very convenient. Change the filters each time you order a new box of bags! I have owned bagless vacuum cleaners in the past and will never own another one. They require too much cleaning and are nasty in my opinion. The Miele bags are very well made and will filter the air that passes through very well. The best feature of these bags are that they are self sealing! When you remove a full bag from the vacuum cleaner it seals itself so there is no dust escaping in the air!
The vacuum cleaner bags are as advertised and work well! It is a nice advantage to have them delivered to our home instead of going to a specialized vacuum store for pick up. I will be purchasing these again!
Didn't know when I bought my Miele, but it turns out the vacuum has three filters. The dust bag is the first filter, then there is a motor filter, and finally there is the discharge filter. I have seasonal allergies. I bit the bullet and got the HA-50 HEPA filter and tossed the standard cloth discharge filter into a back closet. The combined effect is that the air coming from my new Miele is cleaner than the air coming from my central AC/Heat air handler. Finally, a vacuum cleaner that actually captures the dirt; rather than just re-arranging the dirt. Asthma and seasonal allergy sufferers need this vacuum cleaner more than they realize. If your asthmatic child takes a trip to the ER every time you vacuum, maybe you have the same problem I had. The best vacuum bags you can buy, for the best vacuum we have ever had! Though expensive, these bags not only do a great job at filtering (without excessive air resistance), but also hold a surprising amount of dirt. I was concerned about capacity, as these bags seem small. After examining how dirt is distributed inside (as well as cutting open a full one to retrieve some sucked-up toy parts), it looks like the bag is designed to layer dirt evenly around the outside walls, while leaving an empty space around the center, where the hose end comes in. This not only allows for maximum 'packing' capacity, but also improves airflow. I am totally satisfied with how well these bags work.
Theses bags are totally awesome.Holds all the pet hair and dust inside, as I am use to emptying a suction cup before this bag..No problem changing the bag ..easy and quality made. This bag secures the dirt and lots of pet hair inside no dust in air when changing bags . These Bags are well made.
This is my second Miele vacuum. the first one lasted almost 20 years. This one has lasted through about 10 cleaning sessions. It has no suction now and the neck curves in to the heavier duty floor attachment in such a way that it just clogs over and over and over again.PLEASE do not make the same mistake I made. Get a Shark vacuum for a fraction of the cost. It does the job just as well and has no design flaws.
I bought this vacuum after reading all the rave reviews and have had it for about a month. The motor is powerful and suction strong and it is VERY QUIET but it is cumbersome when using the attachments. Also the main purpose of this vacuum is for bare floors ie..tile or wood. The standard head of the vacuum scratched my wood floors necessitating me buying the parque floor bristle head; costing around $80.I tried to use the wand with attachment to clean my window blinds but it's kinda heavy (and I 'm pretty strong).Also the attachments seem shabby compared to the main vacuum. I feel like for price Meile could add more options and make it more versatile.I am recommending it because there are not many options in this size vacuum and overall the quality is excellent.
