When we first returned to NZ from overseas we bought a Miele vacuum cleaner. For the past thirteen years it has performed excellently, so when we needed to get a new washing machine, we felt that paying a little premioum for a product was a worthwhile investment. The WWD 660 Washing Machine is an excellent machine. We aren't that keen on the washing powder that is supplied with it as it has a strong residue smell on the laundry. this is a nuisance as the design is a great idea, its just that some adjustments need to be made for a better outcome. Having said that , this is an excellent appliance and we hope to get many years use out of it.

I have my mielie-lady for about 3 months. No regrets so far. Feels solid and trustable. It washes well and gentle enough. The detergent drawer is a bit hard to open, but this is a minor issue, especially with the TwinDos option. There is no signal for the end of the wash - at first it was strange, but now I'm glad about it. I also still enjoy testing and compare different machine functions and Miele detergents/capsules on different laundry.
Very happy so far. I have had Miele before and been very happy with it - but noticeably newer tech than the model I bought 10 years ago. Love all the wash options, great for caring for special things. Couldn’t figure out how to turn the automatic detergent dispensers off - so went with it and am glad I did as it makes for a fuss-free wash and I am sure it optimises the wash chemistry (the last time we had our other machine serviced the service person gave me a long list of things to do differently- this will avoid me making the same mistakes:-)
The Miele 8KG Washing Machine we purchased in November 2021 has proved to be a really excellent buy. Clothes are coming out sparkling clean and the machine is very easy to operate. We have been using the Miele Twin Dos detergent in the machine and find that it lasts very well and simplifies using the machine. An excellent purchase all round.
WWD660 is one of the best washing machine which we have been purchased and used. Thank Miele
It throws the odd error and has to be restarted by turning off at the wall. Otherwise it washes well and wrings the clothes dry well (1400rpm)
Love Miele washing machines. This model has longer cycles than my last Miele but I still love it. The self dosing detergent is also very convenient.
Amazing washing machine, long cycles but clothes so clean and fresh. Auto dosing is brilliant. No mess. Very happy with our purchase.
