I chose this model to connect the coffee machine to the water main and do not regret it. If you load cartridges, it automatically cleans and descales itself. There is some cleaning and removal of water and waste you need to do but it is nowhere near as time consuming as in older models. The cleaning itself is much easier as parts are easy to pull out and fit back. The overall operation is super quiet, I was actuall very suprised how quiet it is. The LCD display works well and there is plenty of settings to tailor the drink to the desire taste. You can have a number of profiles for each family member and friend. Dont get me wrong this is an expensive piece of kit but absolutely worth it, its so easy to use and does a huge variety of brewing to suit all tastes. Its amazing
