Nice lightweight hose but the last ones I bought less than 2 years ago have frayed quite badly. The manufacturer’s UK distributor tells me this is normal and the frayed threads can be trimmed with scissors but I find this disappointing for a product that is held out as being for extreme use and hard wearing. I’m now resigned to acceptance that I will have to replace these hoses every 18 months to 2 years.

I love the MiFlex hoses. They are lighter and can be transported more compactly. They make it easier to set up my gear. When attached to a second stage, their great flexibility does not tug my regulator out of my mouth like some stiffer hoses.

Over the years, I've heard mostly good, and hardly any bad reports about Miflex hoses, the only 'bad' being based on assumptions concerning the company's little-known roots in hose manufacture for domestic appliances. My own experience, having used many of their high- and low-pressure dive hoses within our family of four divers over several years, is that none of us have ever had any issues, and we've always found them to be a reliable product. On that basis I've been very happy and would have no hesitation recommending them.

I needed to replace the LP hose for my Apeks Flight regs before a live-aboard dive holiday. This blue hose is light weight, flexible, durable and a great colour which helps me spot my reg set in the rinse tank. I am really pleased with the service and the rapid delivery time before the holiday.
I prefer the Miflex braided hoses to rubber types as they are lighter, and have good flexibility. Two 100cm length BCD/Drysuit hoses were ordered from Mike's for use on bailout cylinders. This length was not in stock, but delivery was still within four days, and at a good price.I will certainly use Mike's Dive Stores for other diving items.
Always very happy with Miflex hoses. This one was purchased to replace a 7-year-old Miflex low-pressure inflator hose on which the valve recently failed. Pretty good I think, considering that the old hose should really have been replaced before it reached 7 years!
The excellent hose works perfectly and as a 6' guy the extra 5cm makes all the difference over the shoulder to my BCD connection. If you can make me a 15cm HPH for my D5 Pod then I will buy that too ;-) I have made many purchases thus far and will continue to do so over the coming months and years.
These hoses look great ! Very flexible...much more so than a standard rubber hose. There very well made too. I've used them as inflater hoses on my twin bladder wing and they work perfectly. Nice to add a little colour too instead of all black...I deffinatly recommend them.
Hose works well for drysuit feed from my suit inflation bottle, used red colour to not confuse with a black hose from my stage bottle. I have been using these type hoses for a year now, the flexibility of the hoses is great. Although if you are storing the hoses tightly coiled on a stage and they bend tightly they can kink which restricts or stops airflow so important to deploy the hose unkinked before use.
Great hose, braided jacket has a nice feel to it. the quick connect on the end now has a raised rim to make it easier to grasp and release. did not work for my Aqualung i3 bc inflator connection as it interferes with the lever. will order another, but specify it not to have the "flange" (which is not a bad idea, but may not be compatible with all inflators.
