The Aero Platinum Mirror is an innovative new design, specifically developed to securely fit to the extremely tapered mirror bezels, now found on increasing numbers of manufacturers vehicles to improve fuel efficiency by reducing aerodynamic drag. One of the key developments of the Aero Platinum Mirror is the inclusion of new flexible, rubber faced stainless steel, sprung loaded gripper plates. These are over 50% larger than the standard Aero 3 mirror pads. This design enables the gripper to ‘form’ to the shape of the vehicle mirror bezel. This significantly increases the surface contact area, providing improved grip and stability to the towing mirror. The Platinum clamp has also been enlarged, now accepting vehicle mirror bezels up to 25mm in thickness. Also now fitted with a larger diameter arm, this offers even further stability to the mirror, and has adequate reach to be used on caravans up to 2.55 meters wide. I have just fitted & used these Mirrors on my Disco 4.A bit difficult to get the brackets seated properly on the mirrors. I found that while tightening the clamp it pushes the the bevel out from under the mirror casing.When I got it secured the mirrors were stable & nearly vibration free.I have had Clear View Mirrors on my previous 4WD & they are great but these are great value for money & work well.

These mirrors are the ants pants of clip on mirrors. Easy to fit the best clamps available. Very little vibration when towing. Well worth the money for under $200. Those cheap ones are no comparison best place for them is in the bin. Highly recomended.

These work very well, the big convex mirrors provide an excellent field of view for both driving and manoeuvring. There is still some minor vibration but the fitting clamps to the mirror are far better and much more reliable than than any other clip-ons I have used. A good well made product and worth the extra cost.

Once adjusted and tightened they stay set. This was only on bitumen. Gravel roads may test them.There is a bit of vibration but generally good. My previous set a bit like truck mirrors used to vibrate and the wind would blow them out of adjustment.
Fitted easily. Stayed securely in place. Remained in correct orientation when driving. Provides good field of view, both horizontally and vertically.
Great mirrors, minimal vibration on 2021 Navara & good coverage with larger diameter bars & mounts with the larger foot pad.Aerodynamic & suitably stable in a passing truck backwash. Make sure that the head is mounted correctly as in the photos (with the tapered edge to the outside) before complaining about wind buffeting! The bars can be installed into the brackets in various ways to suit left & right mirror angles & so be adjusted to a natural eye-level glance level.I prefer to have to mount & remove these than install the larger permanently mounted mirrors. The electrically adjusted vehicle mirrors can then be used to observe trailer wheels & tree branches on tight corners or when reversing.
Our mirrors arrived promptly via Australia Post. They were easy to fit and set up. There was very little distortion or vibration throughout our drive. Highly recommend both RV Online and these mirrors.
This model has a superior fastening design but is still not perfect. We had one mirror come loose after a few hours but luckily it detached as we stopped the car to check it. Really needs a safety strap.
I originally purchased the Grand Aero towing mirrors for my 2019 CR VW Touareg and lost one on our maiden voyage due to a poor fit on the VW mirrors (both user error and far from ideal clamp design). Whilst the mirrors performed flawlessly until the mishap, I was keen to wait until the new and improved version arrived in the country. Whilst I haven't actually towed as yet with the new mirrors, the fitment looks to be perfect and can even accommodate the auto closing mirrors without the attached tow mirrors clashing with the car windows. Please note, that the glass is not flat, but is claimed to be slightly convex. They are definitely convex when compared with my flat glass version. Whilst I have a preference for flat, I'm sure I will get used to these new ones!
The milenco towing mirrors are so easy to install, they feel well made and are easy to adjust.
