It did the job. Nothing real special. I did have some difficulty in adjusting it to clamp on correctly, and I also noticed I had to readjust say least twice for the same nut. That's the only thing I can say good or bad. I bought them for the one specific task but they look like they can stand in my toolbox for awhile.

Good quality

I was trying to use an old pair of locking pliers to grab and remove a broken bolt and they just kept slipping of the piece of the bolt. This plier was much better. It had a great grip on the bolt right away and I was able to quickly remove the broken bolt. The only negative is that I kept changing the tightenness on the plier every time I went to grab the bolt again. The red handle I am sure is supposed to make things easier but in a tight space it did not.

I needed this tool to unscrew a tie rod end off of my pickup truck. I had another vise grip almost the same size of a different brand, but I preferred the Milwaukee one because it seemed more durable and bulky. I clamped it onto the inner tie rod end and let it rest against the lower control arm and i had no problem removing the outer tie rod end. Highly recommended!

I only bought them as a temporary clamp to tighten my battery cable to the post until I got home to be able to make repairs. The cable connector had corroded to almost nothing, so nothing available to tighten a nut. It got me home safely, I tossed them in my tool box and will use them periodically. I wanted a cheaper set, but it was all they had.

10 in. Torque Lock Straight Jaw Locking Pliers from Milwaukee were made in China. That is the only bad thing I can say about them. Right out of the plastic package I clamped them on a rusted lag screw that was stuck in its shied in concrete. After several attempts at breaking it free we applied a liquid that was to loosen the screw. We waited about the time to drink a can of Pepsi then tried again. The pliers had a death grip on the screw and after several whacks with a hammer the screw came out. The pliers were none the worse for the wear. At first glance the red tightening screw device looks like plastic, Boy was I wrong. You can put a screwdriver in the eye hole and tighten the pliers down with out worrying about breaking it off. The Mighty tool

This tool is priceless for the amount of projects it can handle. I used it right away to replace a Delta Tempo shower head and it made the job effortless and no damage to the project. It grips and does not slip. This particular pliers also is equipped with a torgue bar for that extra tough job. I will use this tool often as something always needs fixing around my house. Great product by Milwaukee and it come also with a limited Lifetime Warranty. Thanks Home Depot for another fantastic tool.
