I have been a Milwaukee fan for many years. For a long time, I didnāt think battery powered lawn care equipment was the way to go. I continued hearing about how much you can get done with battery powered equipment. I am glad I decided to try this out! I absolutely love my blower! It has all the power I need for my application. I love how it feels so torquey, it gets to full power faster than a gasoline blower. I was able to get my whole property done and still had a full battery! I am still on the fence about getting the mower but havenāt decided yet. I definitely recommend this!

Great blower! I used two 6.0 batteries (non forge) and then two 5.0s and it worked great. Tne balance is good and the extranhandle was perfect for getting the blower into small spaces. Its balanced but you will need to switch hands from time to time but you'd be doing that anyway. Worth the money in my humbke opinion. If it's in your budget I would say get it it!

For starters I have to state that Iām a huge fan of Milwaukee tools. I purchased this blower a month ago for my yard š leafs of course. The tool is a beast regarding blowing power. Iāve used the single battery model and I like the sliding trigger and the battery status on the top. Also the handle at the bottom is great for prolonged use. But I have to state that is so battery hungry. It devours 2 8 amp HO batteries in minutes if you use full power. But if you are found on 60-70% of the trigger then it lasts longer. But I am a bit disappointed since you got it for the extra power. Thatās why the 4 stars.

Lots of fun! I just spent the weekend helping my buddy work on his cabin in the mountains in UT. Took my blower and bunch of other Milwaukee tools. My 10 yo son was getting bored. So i reminded him he could play with tthe blower. We put empty water bottles with the bottoms cut off down the tube and LAUNCHED them into the air! He even built a working parachute for the bottles.Great times!
I've been looking at this blower since it was first introduced, hoping someday to add it to my collection of Milwaukee tools. Recently my 22 year old gas blower actually shattered the fan shroud so I ordered the M18 Dual battery blower that same day. It has about half again the airflow compared to most other blowers, with near instant response when you pull the trigger. It is somewhat quieter than a gas blower but I still would wear ear protection if using it for more than a few seconds. I bought 2 8ah batteries at the same time even though I already had 2 5ah and 2 6ah batteries. I'm glad I did because it does use a lot of power. However rotating the batteries and keeping a set on a rapid charger allowed nearly continuous use. However rotating the batteries and keeping a set on a rapid charger allowed nearly continuous use. For example I used the blower to collect about 30 well stuffed bags of leaves with 2 other people helping fill bags etc and still managed to end up with one set of batteries fully charged. The 8ah batteries are a good fit for long lasting and weight. The 5ah set of course was lighter but drained really fast. The 2 8ah batteries were more than the blower so yes this can get pricey but for me Milwaukee quality is well worth the cost. It is very easy to control the airflow from minimal up to max which is really handy when finishing up a pile of leaves or blowing out a garage. This blower does not gradually lose power as you drain the batteries . Rather it has full power right up until the battery is drained. All in all a great blower.
The most powerful blower I've ever used!We all know that using a high-draw tool is really hard on small batteries, so do yourself a favor and use 9Ah or better to preserve them.Anyone in these reviews who's complaining about battery life is probably locking the trigger on full power, which is unnecessary and hugely inefficient!Whatever size of batteries you're using, I STRONGLY RECOMMEND taking advantage of the variable trigger lock on a fuel-efficient lower speed, then using the trigger for occasional extra boost.I used a pair of 12Ah batteries, and using this technique did my entire driveway, parking area, deck and stairs in about 30 mins, and still have all 4 lights on the fuel gauge. The 12Ah batts were a bit heavy, but the balance was still pretty good. I think 9Ah would be a good compromise for normal residential use.The performance of this tool is staggering, and the noise volume is less than half of my gas-blower.Absolutely no regrets on this purchase!
I have used the M18 single battery blower for a couple years, which works well. However, I wanted more power when I was blowing leaves off my lawn in the fall. The Dual Battery Blower has a noticeable power increase and it is quieter. It is obviously heavier (using 2 8ah batteries) but it is well balanced and comfortable to use. I highly recommend!
The biggest and only complaint is that it EATS through batteries so quickly. If you have a large yard, or a bunch of leaves, you might make sure you have a BUNCH of charged batteries. I used the 5amp batteries to start with. I definitely recommend using the 8amp batteries They make it heavier of course, but it will last a lot longer. Im a Milwaukee guy, so I donāt know how others compare.
Iāve owned one of these for a week now (bought elsewhere and not sure why HD is holding back?). This thing is amazing! Itāll easily rival a gas powered blower. Iām really surprised not only in its power, but battery life. I use 2 HO XC-8.0 batteries and I can easily do my yard and both my neighboursā front yards (yah, couldnāt stop myself) before I need to recharge. I did buy a second set of batteries and a rapid charger as I know this thing will get used a lot at the cottage next season. Do not hesitate to get one of theseā¦..amazing tool! Thanks Milwaukee!!!
I am a 60+ year old fairly-recent widow living alone. I own a Stihl BR 600, but itās cumbersome and heavy, hard to start, a bit of work to maintain, and I have to psych myself up to use it. This Milwaukee blower, on the other hand, is a no-brainer for me. Sure, it doesnāt have as much power as the BR 600 (or even as much power as the dual M18 battery version of the Milwaukee blower), but itās lightweight, has enough power and almost enough battery life with a big battery to do my garage/front steps/long driveway all as one job. Itās also been great on my decks. Itās so easy and fun to use I find myself grabbing it often. I own other Milwaukee tools and have multiple batteries and thus can exchange them for longer tasks. I think Milwaukee should fully embrace how great the M18 line is for women. I live in the woods next to a pond and plan to buy the brush cutter and pole saw attachment soon, followed by the biggest sized chain saw I feel comfortable wielding. Who knew Iād have as much fun buying Milwaukee tools as I do buying clothes?
