The interchangeable racking clips that come with this socket set are awesome! There are times for different jobs that I'll want to bring just select sizes and the clips allows me to customize based on that. I also like the durable feel of these versus anything I've ever used before.

This is a comprehensive impact socket set that covers all the popular metric sizes. The most obvious feature of these sockets is the large, clear etched and inked size markings. A great advantage to users in many circumstances. The rail is good quality and helps to ensure inventory control as it is so obvious when a socket is not on the rail.

Great product. I absolutely hate the rail they are on tho. They lock down on it and you really really have to fight to get a socket off. Maybe they would wear in a bit and fit slightly looser but I have them in a stationary box and just stopped locking them down on the rail all the way. The sockets themselves are good. Definitely a good deal for impact sockets

I bought the Milwaukee SHOCKWAVE 3/8 in. Drive Metric 6 Point Impact Socket Set because needed a set of regular metric sockets for working in tight spots. The included rail keeps all the sockets together without taking up too much space in my tool chest. I could not find another set that had the 21mm socket which is the one I really needed last time I was working on my truck. I really like how easy it is to read the ink filled markings on the Milwaukee sockets when I'm working under a vehicle.
I do a lot of automotive work and almost exclusively use impact guns and powered ratchets so having a good set of impact sockets is essential. These shockwave sockets do not disappoint. My first impression when seeing these is the bright sizing numbers that make size identification effortless. The numbers are actually engraved and then filled with some type of white epoxy. I was concerned that the white would easily wear off but it seems very tough and durable and has withstood oil, transmission and brake fluid as well as brake cleaner spray. I’m confident it’ll last a long time. The sockets are what I’d call medium walled. Not as thin as some other brands but not as thick as some cheaper brands. The sockets are very tough to get on and off the rail and the end caps of the rail easily fall off and allow the socket retainers to slide off. I typically use another style of socket rail so this wasn’t a huge issue for me but if you need a quality rail you’ll need to look elsewhere.

They have worked out great. The rail it comes with is also really good because it holds them really good so they’re not falling out in a tool bag or something. And I like how I can set them up with all the markings facing out. I’ll end up getting some half-inch sockets from them soon to add on to the collection. The rail itself also seems to be interchangeable to customize it. Not sure how or why I would do that but a cool feature to know I can do it. The red ring is the main reason I got it. Dont laugh at me hahaha. But not I see its just simply painted on. The sockets are a week old and its starting to wear off. Very disappointing but the sockets are doing their jobs. They kinda look like chrome sockets tho in the drive areas. Like theyre getting a little mangled. Not as bad tho.

I will always reach for these if I am working with my impact now and I can’t wait to get the deep version of these sockets.I love the bright white lettering and it really does make a difference when reaching for a specific size! You can see them from across the shop! They also only skip the 20 size in metric, unlike my other sets that skip like 5 sizes and you have to make sure to buy all of those separate. I have gotten by with this set and haven’t missed my other ones, 7 - 21 gets most things on my car done!Also they put TWO holes at the base of the sockets so finding one to lock into your socket wrench is so much faster, this is by far my favorite feature!I have used these for ...
