Milwaukee 48222183 17pce Metric/SAE Folding Hex Key Set

Ergonomic handle, Milwaukee quality. With several loose Allen keys around my shop, I wanted a combination set with both SAE and metric. I like the handle that's designed to get some pressure on the bolt head and not collapse and fit into a hand and not fingertips only etc..

The product served me very well. The only issue is that I only needed the largest size in the set. I had to buy a whole set when I only needed one size.

I bought this because I can never find my hex key set when I need it, but it turns out that it is more precise and works better than my other one. This is bound to be another one of those tools that I spend 20 min looking for when I have the other one in hand.

If you lose allen keys and hex keys (like everyone else does), this folding set is perfect for you. Mine found a permanent spot in the toolbox and I’m sure itll get plenty of use over the years building furniture and for all sorts of miscellaneous work

Milwaukee always takes things up a notch with their tools, and this one's no exception, although it's debatable whether the extra cost is worth it for something this simple. But the quality is undeniable. Let me just mention a few things that set this kit apart:(1) the body is metal rather than plastic - feels solid in the hand.(2) spacers are used in between each hex key to keep the whole thing feeling tight. The Milwaukee 9-Key SAE Folding Hex Key Set is design for easily access.Each key is labeled on the body/handle so it is easy to quickly find the size you want. The body/handle is metal so high torque can be imparted into the keys and the shape of the body/handle is designed for comfort. The keys rotate 270°, so that it's easy to use is tight fitting spaces, and it's small, compact design makes it easy to carry in your pocket or tool pouch. It's made in the USA and , of course, comes with Milwaukee's lifetime warranty.

This is a simple allen wrench tool. It is sturdy and easy to use. The individual wrenches are easily opened and do not loosen like cheaper ones from the bargain tool store. The are long enough to provide adequate leverage for most uses. Even though each wrench is clearly marked with the size and SAE/Metric, it would be even better if they were different colors to more easily find the right one for the job.

This how hex keys should be. These 2 sets of hex keys, metric and standard, make it so easy to use. I have other hex key sets but they require way more work use. Just swing the desired key out and use the handle for leverage and you're done. Fold the key back and you won't lose it. The keys swing out of the case easily but are not loose.I'm using them for assembling furniture. The handle gave me a lot of force without cutting into my hand. This is huge benefit over individual keys, especially the smaller sizes.The sizes are printed on the case making it easy to pick the correct one. I've always had trouble knowing the size.These will work almost anywhere. Once again, this 17-key folding hex key sets (SAE and Metric) are outstanding tools from the Milwaukee brand. Both the SAE and Metric hex keys appear to be very well made. The hex keys are well labeled and easy to pull open from the heavy-duty dispenser. The dispenser fits easily in your hand and also serves as a tough handle allowing you to apply a tremendous amount of torque. Both the SAE and Metric units are small enough to fit in your tool belt without taking up much space. See attached photographs. Well-done Milwaukee!
