Milwaukee 48225506C - Keychain Tape Measure 2m/6ft

A great little pocket tape measure. Having metric and non-metric measurements comes in handy. And wide enough to really work. Bought as a replacement for one that had the rubber edging fall off and then finally the spring mechanism quit working. But I'd had the first one a long time and feel good about replacing it with the same tape measure.

We bought the Milwaukee Keychain 6 ft tape measure for our son who was wanting one with metric scale for use with his 3D printing. This fit the bill perfectly and he loves it. The size is perfect for his needs and the standard and metric scales are something you don’t find in many tape measures today. I have a lot of Milwaukee tools and this little tape measure lives up to the quality that I am used to. I would definitely buy again.

I've had this for so long that the logo's paint has peeled off, but it still works without fail. It has been useful at work, and I typically keep it attached to my keys off the clock. I do DIY home improvement projects, and when I see furniture I like at a thrift store, I whip out this tool to take the dimensions to see if it can be a great addition to my home. When friends and coworkers say too bad I can't take the measurements of this thing right now, I pull this out of my pocket. I don't leave home without this portable tape measurement and love the quality of the Milwaukee tools. If someone asks, "What tool brand should I get?" I say Milwaukee without hesitation.

This is an everyday must for me! As you can probably tell by my photo, I’m lost if I don’t bring this to work with me. As a plumber, being to take quick measurements while my keychain is attached is almost like cheating. Makes installs much easier not having to hold a large tape measure. Being used everyday and still going this is in my top 10 favorite tools.

Great little tape to leave in your car

Bought a bunch of these to leave in the car and in some room. At a sale price it is worth it for these little guys but regular price may not be the best price.Tape has a real life limit of 200cm/79" so it's a bit longer than the stated imperial limit to match the metric. There are clear markings on every 10cm and every foot so it's very easy to read quickly. The tape itself can extend about 4 feet before it starts to collapse on its own weight without any support. The lock on the tape is pretty strong and appears to be well built, it won't just slide in by itself if it's pushed on. The feel in your hand is pretty good, there is a rubber overmold that gives it a good grip and also won't damage surfaces if it's dropped. I love having these around, and I prefer them over any other small tape measures I've used. They lock well, the tape is sturdy, and the plastic case feel durable and survives drops well. Having metric and inch on the same tape is extremely useful. I highly recommend keeping several on hand for quick measurements.#sweepstakes

Yesterday at work I was loading a salt spreader with 250kg of salt. I was using my keys to open the bags for about the first 3 bags until I realized I had a pair of scissors near by. Foolishly I stuffed my keys into the pocket of my Bobcaygeon dinner coat. After finishing loading the salt then continuing work for another 3 hours. I realized I had lost my keys. After remembering where I had them last, my heart sank. I returned to the salt spreader and began digging through the pile of rock salt. Sifting. Trying to find my keys. After about 30 minutes of digging and being coated with salt. The operator of the salt truck came by and asked what on gods green earth I was doing sifting through his salt spreader. He got the salt truck drivers attention and the driver explained the story of how the keys got in there. The driver took the keys and returned them to the front desk of my place of work (Thanks salt truck driver!). This morning I was informed that my keys were found and I could come pick up my truck. Attached to these keys was my Milwaukee 6FT keychain tape measure, Before arriving at the front desk to pick up my keys. I was sure that my tape measure must of been obliterated in the salt spreader. But I was happily surprised to discover it relatively unharmed. Yes this tape measure had passed through the salt spreader along with 250kg of rock salt and hit a brick wall at the speed sound. But it still works like the day I bought it. Other than most of the paint being rubbed off in the salt (what can you do) this thing is good to go. Bulletproof tape measure. 11/10 Would recommend.

Love these little 6ft tape measures. I pick up different brands at different hardware stores. The Milwaukee is by far my favorite and i have several. I keep them in drawers around the house of 3 stories. One in each of my tool boxes. And one in each vehicle.Apparently i have lots of things that require measuring. I don’t put it on my keychain but the clasp makes for an easy way to hang it on a peg or hook. They also make great gifts or stocking stuffers.

Plastic junk inside and out

Absolutely a P.O.S whatever designer they payed 2 dollars too, to design this well they got what they payed for. The inside clamp mechanism is 100% plastic didn't even make it 2 month before it snapped. I Don't even want a regular sized one because that's probably plastic also. A1 Milwaukee really going above and beyond saving 10 cents instead of stamping cheap sheet metal
