This was a recent gift and has become my favorite coffee cup. I bought my wife a 20oz Yeti last year and for keeping hot beverages hot and cold beverages cold, this Milwaukee performs the same as a Yeti. I don't use this with a Packout system, so I can't speak to that aspect. I like that it fits the cup holders in my Ram, my wife's Sentra and my John Deere and Toro lawn tractors. I'd be curious to know just what vehicles folks can't fit this into the cup holder on. In the morning my coffee goes in it and it stays hot until it's all gone, then cup 2, then cup 3. When doing lawn work, keeps ice water cold on a hot day, even when it sits in direct sun.I've read a lot of complaints about the lid, and I think many are due to unrealistic expectations. this is a travel ... MoreThis was a recent gift and has become my favorite coffee cup. I do a ton of DIY stuff (flooring, drywall, auto maint/repair, plumbing and more) and the lid is also great at keeping debris from saws, drills, grinders, etc out of my drink. I want to get a Packout lid to cut up and mount the twist-lock cup holder on my boat - or does Milwaukee aleady make a mountable cup holder?Bottom line, this 20 oz coffee cup is awesome.

I've got Milwaukee tool boxes.I've purchased both the 20 and 30oz tumblers, and they work pretty well. They won't keep hots super hot all day like Stanley thermos, but nothing beats a completely sealed thermos (this is a Tumbler...). about ~5 hours hot to warm. And at least 14 hours ice cold stuff (I have filled both to the rim with ice and drank ~5 containers worth of water from both and the ice lasted 14 hours before I dumped a big frozen block of ice out of both to fill with coffee). The lids leak like a son of a gun though with hot liquids!!! They don't seem to leak at all with cold liquids. The are "neat" leaking lids but you must carefully close them, do NOT let it snap close or else it will splash you and throw liquids all over the place (liquids seem to ... MoreI've got Milwaukee tool boxes.I've purchased both the 20 and 30oz tumblers, and they work pretty well. If they redo the lids so they are truly leak proof I would purchase new lids for my Tumblers, otherwise I can't fully recommend these other than they work well with the PackOut system.

It seems like the only Milwaukee product that wasn’t actually tested before putting it on the market. Bought one and the Coffee leaks right out of the lid. Needs a new lid, surprisingly they haven’t fixed this yet. Thought it was just that one so I went to grab another, brought water in Home Depot to test them, and each on leaked as suspected. Only bad thing Milwaukee ever made imo

The cup is very nice. The lid, not so much. I have never really had a problem with leaks. The problem is keeping the lid clean. I only drink 2 drinks, water and unsweet iced tea. The lid is tricky to clean because of the grooves in it as well as the fact that you have to remove the black rubber gasket to clean under there. When I’m mowing my lawn on my zero turn which takes 3 hours, all kinds of debris gets caught under the black part that allows you to close off the opening. Now I use a cheap tumbler that has the built in straw with a cap on it. Other than this tumbler, I am very happy with my Milwaukee power tools
Great mug, checks all the boxes except the lid. It leaks, so the mug needs to be carried upright which reality doesn't always allow; just causes another trip. This leaky lid is held onto the mug by a killer-strong seal; be sure to empty the cup BEFORE failing to remove the lid and shooting the contents all over the place. If it had a Contigo style push-button lid, this might be the perfect cup.
As a big fan and owner of many awesome Milwaukee tools, this is the first time that I have had to write a bad review about the Milwaukee tools (sorry). Yes, a coffee cup/mug is a tool for me.The Negative:...1st- The lid is the worst design I have ever owned. It's not leakproof at all, if you drop or flip a cup it leaks immediately.2nd- After you take a sip of your favorite beverage and slide the cup lid into *CLOSE* position the liquid that is left on the top edges of the lid It will splash everywhere (Never had any other brand lid do that). It's because magnets are snapping the moving part into a close position3rd- If you like puzzles and have a Ph.D. degree you may have the luck to take a lid apart to wash it but good luck putting it back (so ... MoreAs a big fan and owner of many awesome Milwaukee tools, this is the first time that I have had to write a bad review about the Milwaukee tools (sorry). The magnets are a great idea but the design is a fail in my book4th- bottom base is too large/wide and will not fit into most vehicles' cup holders that I tested (7), on most cup holders this cup will be super tide fit or not at all. (I found that larger commercial vehicles will fit but regular SUVs/cars not so much)The Positive:1st- The bottom base twist lock feature for the toolbox is a great idea and design2nd- Looks and logo of the cup are awesome3rd- Holds Cold/Hot beverage very well
everything that is in the mug pours out of it. this glass cannot be used in the car - everything is filled with coffee. it should be noted that it is convenient to insert it into the packout. you need to redo the design of the cover, making it airtight. heat retention properties - not too outstanding, but acceptable. we are waiting for the change of the valve and thermos!
It keeps your coffee warm, not hot, but the bigger problem is the lid sprays a fine mist of coffee everywhere every time is snaps shut. Coffee builds up on the lid, and then when the sliding cover swings shut it spays coffee everywhere. After a week of using this my steering while was covered in coffee spots. I tried the other size one and it was just as bad.FWIW, I use all Milwaukee everything. I'm fully committed to the whole modular packout system, and I loved the idea of a mug that wouldn't fall off my tool box if I snapped it on, but this ain't it.
Loved this mug so much I was searching to see if Milwaukee also sells the lid separately. I think it's a great design. I read some of the other reviews and I guess the other guys have never used a Yeti mug. This lid design is superior in flow (liquid and air) and holds in more liquid than a yeti when tipped. Yes, both do leak, I didn't expect it to be leak proof. If you want something leak proof maybe get a thermos with a screw on cap (new idea Milwaukee). Any way I love the lid, it's a little harder to put togeather but not so bad. Sell me the lid separately, would love to replace some of my others.
I routinely switch back and forth from coffee to iced tea, and I think this does a remarkable job on both hot and cold beverages. I read someone else's review of the lid snapping closed and spurting little splashes of your drink around... and this does happen. I noticed it in the car when I'd get little spots of my beverage on the steering wheel. For the design, I really like the lid, and now I'm just careful to close it slowly when I put it back in the cup holder. I'd think it's a flaw, but I do really like the ease of cleaning the lid, so I wouldn't trade it out.
