Outstanding product, cnc from billet aluminum extremely well made, and beautiful in appearance. ordering was super easy and the seller shipped quickly I received the items long before I ever thought I would and they are some of the best mounting brackets I have found. The thought and attention to detail that the seller put into his product is evident instantly. and the speed and ease of the purchase that's the quality of the product. I absolutely would and am sure that I will, shop with this seller again in the future!

I bought this create and was so excited to use it to store my battery’s and chargers in and it done really well until it broke. I was hoping to get years of use out of it but I only got a few days. I have a pack out set and was super excited that it would lock onto the top to help me stay organized more… Really was let down. I tried to bring it back to the store I bought it but I had lost the receipt somewhere along the way. I’m a customer for life so one default isn’t going to make me want to change brands or anything . Hook a brother up with another one Milwaukee Tools!!

Bought the crate to use as part of bug-out / RV camping kit to haul 1-gal water containers Reused milk jugs, unfortunately it's not deep enough to actually carry milk containers and still be able to stack any other packout case on top of it. Since 4 gal of water weighs over 33lb I was planning on using the crate as the base layer of my packout stack. Unfortunately I assumed a packout crate would be the same depth as a actual milk crate. (my mistake) If Milwaukee were to add another inch or so to fit a standard gal jug height of 9.97" they might find a whole new market segment. I know many preppers and RV enthusiasts use packout products to safely transport and provide quick access to camping and survival essentials. I highly doubt any tradesmen or current crate owners would take issue if future crates provided an 1" more storage capacity. Just saying, sometimes a product i.e. packout ends up having many uses beyond the design teams original intent. Just a suggestion for consideration.

This is a great product. I feel like it was not marketed properly. I say that because you can connect other packout boxes to the top of this, including the work surface and initially I was worried that I would be unable to do so , so I opted for other boxes instead. Being able to use the work surface as a lid will be a big benefit to me. I am not the most organized person, but I am trying. At the end of the workday, depending on how much time I have or do not have, I will throw stuff into the crate as oppose to the respective boxes to leave the work site. This way I can easily find the items later as oppose to searching through my other boxes. Another minor issue for me, aside from the lack of a carrying handle, is that the crate is a little bit small( width wise) ... MoreThis is a great product. I feel like it was not marketed properly. I'm still getting amazed by the quality and type of products that are still coming out. I was one of the first to get the new storage system and now we have this packet. It's though, reliable all around great. Don't hesitate to buy one the amount of different way Milwaukee has come around to use it. It's just phenomenal. Use it going on walls or on a cart. It's just a great tool to keep things organized and in one place. My only problem is it's height. It should be as tall as a milk create and have the additional height to use the quick coupling connection they use in the other cases. It should be at least 2" higher. Note: I don't know if there is a reason for it height. Some kind of standard? For an example. Locking mechanism needs to be pushed down to lock. The worst is whatever broke inside is not replaceable because everything is molded in to the case. I used it 3 times to cary couple cans of spray foam insulation that's all. Now I have over40$ of plastic sitting in my garage because the lock broke. It's great idea with this crate but Milwaukee needs to step it up and make sure that parts that can't be replaced should last for at least couple years, definitely longer than 4 months.
Ive used this pack out to hold my hand tools, its great for that however I wouldn’t consider it a good packout. Ive had problems with locking other pack outs on top of it. Hitting bumps and potholes usually causes whatever is locked to the top of it to come off. I recently had lost a packout box along with hundreds of dollars worth of tools i had in it because of this issue. I only purchase milwaukee tools because of the quality and trust i can have in them, however this crate does not quite live up to what i hoped a packout would be, its durable but it is not something you can trust to hold another packout on top of it.
I use this crate to store and carry multiple tools and parts on the job as an A/V technician. When I purchased the crate I didn’t notice that the lock mechanism was missing, and when I did notice it was not there I thought Milwaukee designed it that way. It’s actually become very annoying as the crate slides out of my Packout “stack” when I’m driving in the work van, and everything falls over. I have to put it to the side now when I drive taking up space that I could be using to store something else. I was disappointed with the crate not having a locking mechanism from the very beginning, even more so now that I know there should have been a lock in the first place.
I got these for bulk or random items, but found them not quite as perfect as I thought they would be. Great for a toss it in and go approach, but would be nice if they were the same full footprint as the toolboxes. There is a couple inches around the outside that is lost. They also need a lid option so they could be used as a table or spot to lay items. Overall great quality, just not quite a homerun for me.
The Milwaukee Packout system is hands down the BEST tool storage system on the market in my opinion. Initially I chose Milwaukee solely on thier Tool and battery platform for automotive applications...as it turns out it is a decision I have never regretted as this company is so much more.in this system everything has a purpose and every detail is well thought out. The best way to describe it is it’s a lot like a Lego system. The ABS material and cleat locking mechanisms all work together no matter what container size you have. I have 2 of these crates, the “milk crate” is probably the most versatile packout of the bunch as you can fit near any tool into it. It’s unique feature is its dual cleat mounting to mount on a wall or a packout stack. I highly recommend this product.
