Already had the kit in SAE. Absolutely love the Metric kit. The Pack-Out modularity is invaluable as I travel often and take the kits with me. The luxury of being able to remove the entire tray from the Pack-Out container enables placing it in a tool chest and removing it for transport as needed. I currently have both the SAE and Metric kits in the same half height full Pack-Out kit. The quality of the tools is phenomenal for me in the Automotive and Trades fields. The flexibility of use and compact size of the kit is perfect for constantly having to be on the move. After over 30 years of doing my job, this is one of the nicest and most versatile tool sets I have owned.

I love my Milwaukee tools. In short i spen over $2000 on tools and this 48-22-9482 and the 48-22-9481 was among that. I particularly love the shape of the sockets.However. The ratchet on the metric set, 48-22-9482 broke. The direction switch on the back of the ratchet just fell off. And the pins in the universal joint worked their way out and bent.

This set has been a life saver for me. Every socket is etched with the sizing and includes shallow and deep sockets of equivalent sizing without skipping any in the series. The included packout organizer is great because it's compatible with packout trays and boxes for easy retrieval and storage. I also like the inclusion of multiple extensions and a swivel. The included 3/8" ratchet is also high quality and features a handy "on/off" labeling for easy switching back and forth.

I work out of a pickup and carry a lot of salt/chlorine. So tools get wet some and are around oxidizers. I Used to have to replace my sockets in a blow molded case every two years or so due to corrosion. So of course I started using cheap ratchets. I really hat wasting money. This case is not blow molded and so everything fits much more precisely. It also has a neoprene gasket so water is way less of a problem. So far I love these sets. A good addition for efficiency and if you extend it out there is a lot of value in a tool that lasts a long time. Also, I've used them with my impact wrench and so far, nothing has cracked so I'm super happy. Wish they'd make a packout 1/4 sae/metric set.

Help with keeping it all organized is key! Always looking forward to see what they have coming out next!Rob Klein - QT-Systems, Inc.
Hands down a great metric ratchet and socket set. This is a complete set, you are getting 14 regular sockets, 14 deep well sockets, 2 extension pieces, 1 joint piece and one 90 tooth ratchet. The sockets are all anti roll sockets so they are squared at the ratchet attachment point. You also get a slim packout case and an insert for the case that holds all included items. The socket sizes you get range from 6mm to 19mm for both the regular and deep well sockets. You get a 3” extension and a 6” extension piece. The sockets have the stamped sizes on them so you can clearly see what size they are. They are chrome plated and have rust protection. You get a lifetime warranty on them so if anything happens to them Milwaukee will replace them with a simple email noting the product, photo of the piece, your name, and shipping address.A great set that is a must if you are looking for a Milwaukee ratchet set.
I received my Milwaukee 3/8 in. drive metric ratchet and socket mechanics tool set with PACKOUT case. The tool set has 32 pieces. One of the first things I noticed was the rust forming on the latches on the PACKOUT case. The size of the case is perfect for storing the socket set. The case has a place for every piece so its easy to see if any thing is missing after working on a project. The sizes on the sockets are stamped in and are easy to read. The socket set also has FOUR FLAT Sides that prevent rolling and are wrench compatible. The 90-tooth ratchet tool that provides 4° of arc swing and a slim profile for work in tighter spots. Anyone would be happy and proud to own this Milwaukee socket set. With the rust forming on the latches I can only give it 4 stars.
TOP PICK! QUALITY! MILWAUKEE AT ITS BEST! This unit will be an essential piece for anyone looking for a metric socket set. The best part of this set is that it comes in its own PACKOUT container. It interlocks with the PACKOUT system making it that much more easier for anyone that's on the go with their tools. The socket set itself is made of quality and each piece is etched in large font. That makes it easier to spot the sizes. There are 32 pieces and all the essentials are in it. The pieces sit individually in their slot so there will be no movement during any type of transport. I hate it when I open a socket set and it opens to pieces rolling all over the place. No need to worry here with the PACKOUT system. Everything stays secure in its slot. If your in the ... There are a ton of decent socket sets out there but I came to the realization it's the little things that are going to set one product apart from the rest and I feel that's where this excels. Here are the highlights: The sockets are clearly engraved on two sides with the size. One end of each socket is squared so they won't go rolling away from you. (great idea) The set comes in Milwaukee's packout slim case, great if you're in the Milwaukee "ecosystem" and even if not it's a great case. Your sockets won't fall out once you open the lid, it's easy to carry, super durable and is quite slim. It fits under my vehicle's rear cargo area which was precisely what I was looking for. Action on the ratchet is smooth and direction toggle positively locks with no wiggle room. ... This metric socket set in a handy case is a great addition to any toolbox. It has a good selection of sizes in both regular and deep sockets. The ratchet moves smooth with very little backlash. Changing directions is easy. The sockets fit on the ratchet and extensions securely. All sockets are 6 point and clearly marked with the size. The sockets have a square end which is nice because they don't roll away. Everything is stored in a plastic tray with a pocket for each piece. The tray fits snugly inside the packout case which has a tab for interlocking to other packout cases. A metal pin is used as the case hinge, much better than bending plastic.
