I bought this level I think about 3 years ago, for sure 2 1/2. Out of the various torpedo levels I've had this is my favourite design. It's shorter than the typical one, and has just fit in many spaces that a 9 inch won't. The big vials are really easy to see, the 1/8 and 1/4 markings are handy. Being a plumber this gets used and abused daily, I periodically check to make sure it's still accurate by placing it on other larger levels. So far so good. It's been dropped many times but hasn't been affected. The magnets are really strong.I'm not a Milwauke fan typically, they have some terrible tools that they convince to people are great, but this tool is actually great. I don't know what everyone else is talking about my level was accurate to 1 and 2%. I didn't test it against another level I tested it level and then shot the elevations of each line 16th on the second line 8th on the 3rd, being that it's 6 in long or so that translates to a ⅛ and a ¼ fall over a foot. As a couple features the competitors don't have, cut out for weld, The magnets are good and strong, its handy and rugged. Love it

Very sturdy well built level. Magnets work fantastic and since there are four of them you don't have to play around to have it stick onto anything. The billet construction makes it tough, allowing it to keep its shape so you can get accurate readings. The vials are clear and easy to see giving you accurate level readings. It's a great size too, I can keep it in my pockets or throw it in my work bag without adding weight or taking up too much space. Definitely would recommend this product to anyone looking for a good torpedo level.
