This compact spirit level made of aluminium has two precisely milled, magnetic measuring surfaces. The V-groove in one of the measuring surfaces makes it easier to apply the spirit level to round material. Thanks to the recess in the base body, this spirit level can also be applied to round materials to be welded. The four extremely strong rare earth magnets give this spirit level a strong holding force. The acrylic vials aligned to the measuring surfaces at 0, 45 and 90 degrees are impact-resistant and UV-resistant. The horizontal vial (0°) is designed as an inclination vial. This can be used to measure one and two per cent inclinations. The measuring accuracy is 0.029° (0.5 mm/m). Lengths of up to 15 cm can be measured or transferred using the laser-marked measuring scale.

I bought this level I think about 3 years ago, for sure 2 1/2. Out of the various torpedo levels I've had this is my favourite design. It's shorter than the typical one, and has just fit in many spaces that a 9 inch won't. The big vials are really easy to see, the 1/8 and 1/4 markings are handy. Being a plumber this gets used and abused daily, I periodically check to make sure it's still accurate by placing it on other larger levels. So far so good. It's been dropped many times but hasn't been affected. The magnets are really strong.I'm not a Milwauke fan typically, they have some terrible tools that they convince to people are great, but this tool is actually great. I didn't test it against another level I tested it level and then shot the elevations of each line 16th on the second line 8th on the 3rd, being that it's 6 in long or so that translates to a ⅛ and a ¼ fall over a foot. As a couple features the competitors don't have, cut out for weld, The magnets are good and strong, its handy and rugged. Love it

Very sturdy well built level. Magnets work fantastic and since there are four of them you don't have to play around to have it stick onto anything. The billet construction makes it tough, allowing it to keep its shape so you can get accurate readings. The vials are clear and easy to see giving you accurate level readings. It's a great size too, I can keep it in my pockets or throw it in my work bag without adding weight or taking up too much space. Definitely would recommend this product to anyone looking for a good torpedo level.

I use this level mostly to grade PVC pipe. I like how the direction of the grade reads both ways for grading pipe at an 1/4 inch per foot. The markings on it, however, are wrong. Unfortunately the markings indicate 1/4in to 1/2in per foot... learned this the hard way syncing it up with other levels. For almost a year i was grading my pipe at a 1/2in per foot thinking it was a 1/4in (plumbers never need to grade anything faster then 1/4in). The application for this level should strictly be for grading pipe in the dirt. I know you guys can a will make a better one, or a new one. Remove the magnets and make it 10" instead of 6" for accuracy. I like how it sits perfectly on the pipe with the slot on the side without the magnets. Great magnets, relatively level, but the bubble closest to the part number always goes out. Guessing there’s a hole in there, but I’ve been in the welding field for a little under two years now, and I’ve bought three of these. My coworkers have every other brand and theirs are still running strong.
I always make sure to test all my levels for accuracy before putting them into use on the job site. This level came accurate out the box and has been a very handy torpedo level to have on hand. The magnets are very strong and the vials are extremely easy to read.
I am in HVAC tech. Used this level for about 6 months but one day i was working out on A/C and level was left on direct sun for couple hours and it was hot day and bubble part of level swollen up, but over all great magnet.
I bought this 4 week ago and the magnet got loose from the level…… so a level that is not level is a piece of junk….i can move the magnet by a least 1/16. Home Depot dont care about my problem so im stuck with it…really disappointed..
I’ve been using this torpedo for about 3 months. The size is great, price is good , strong magnets. It was awesome for the first 2 months, after that the magnets started to fall out and the accuracy is off! This level is great for a guy that uses it once and a while. I would not buy again, cause of the quality of it. My stablia lasted 5 years! I’m a pipefitter/ welder by trade
I bought this in a 3 pack of Milwaukee levels. It worked great until it didn't.I've had it about 9 months. I use it on copper, mechanical, cast iron and metal studs. One magnet fell out and a week later it's got one left . I tried putting them back in but they don't stay in.I'm a milwaukee fan and have everything Milwaukee.Its a little disappointing it's not durable.
