Built tough and well worth the price.

This tool is extremely convenient and it won’t jump around like a low dollar House of Pain in the rear. Having the auto stop helps out when airing up your tires while multitasking. I can top off my tires while loading my equipment or getting to the campsite off the trail. It isn’t gonna go from flat to 40psi in 60 seconds but it will inflate and stop itself. I’ve found if you leave it too long after it stops you’ll lose a few pounds but it isn’t a big issue for me. I just make sure I take it off once I set something down. I do wish the inflate button was the larger of the two or if the power button was made into a switch on the back or something. It’s been dropped and lives in a toolbox with saws, recips and nailers. The ability to throw an m12 on it is perfect given their size and price if you don’t have an army of batteries like me. Pretty much gold if you have to inflate anything from rafts to truck tires.

Great product, I bought 2 4.0 batteries with it. I used it on a friend's car first from no air to 51 PSI as per the tire spec it used almost the full 4.0 amp hour battery from fully charged. I probably could have made it to 65 PSI as that is the more common PSI. But definitely would get a bigger battery if you fill up or top up more than one tire if you don't have a mobile charge station. Also, this was -40 degrees celsius with light snow so did a fantastic job taking that into consideration.

Excellent Inflator
2 April 2023

No complaints about this inflator.BATTERY LIFE AND SPEEDThe other day I topped of my wife’s tires on her Subaru legacy using the M12 inflator paired with a 1.5ah battery. Each tire was down to 32/33 pounds and we typically run 37psi. I set the inflator to 37 pounds and in less than 1 minute per tire they were topped off. I only used 1 bar on the battery indicator. If using my Ryobi hand held tire pump I would have already used half of a 4ah battery, and took 4-5 minutes a tire. I would also have to hold the unit in my hands and hold the trigger. Not a complaint about the Ryobi, just facts. It’s the reason I purchased this Milwaukee M12 inflator.I also topped off. The last tire that was on 27psi took just under 2 minutes to top off. After that I was down to 2 bars on the battery indicator.SOUND LEVELI will have to say that I was surprised by how loud it wasn’t. Quite the. My Ryobi handheld inflator.SETTING THE REQUIRED PSIProbably my most favorite feature, I can set the psi and hook up the unit and walk away. This inflator will automatically shut off once it reaches the set air pressure.BATTERY INDICATORThe battery indicator is on the lcd screen and is easy to see.BATTERY LOCATIONI am able to easily install and remove the battery. However, people with larger hands and use an extended life battery may have a issue.EAS OF OPERATIONVery easy to operate, set the pressure (+ and -) and press the start button. Anyone should be able to figure it out.HOSE LENGTHhose lengths is good, but it could be a little longer ;).TIRE CHUCKThe tire chuck threads onto the valve stems. It works perfectly fine… but I would like to see if I could install the Lock-N-Flate chuck on mine. Maybe a recommendation for future models!

Good to have for emergencies!!

Milwaukee’s compact inflator has been an awesome addition to my Milwaukee tool collection. The inflator weighs in at only 4.27 lbs without a battery and has the power to inflate a light truck up to 45 PSI in under 4 minutes. The screen is LED lit and allows for you to control what your desired PSI is and the inflator will automatically stop once you reach that PSI. The inflator has a 26 inch hose that has an all brass Schrader chuck which allows for you to screw the chuck onto a tire valve. I own a Toyota Tundra with 20” tires and this inflator was able to top off the tire from completely flat in about 4 minutes using a 4.0 battery. If your truck is loaded with stuff in the back you may run into problems filling the tire. Smaller cars are no problem for this tool. I really like that it comes equipped with a schrader chuck because it screws onto the tire air valve so you don’t have to hold it in place. Basically any tire that has a screw on cap, this chuck will also screw on as well. It is super compact and anyone can use the tool it’s that easy. Great to have for emergency situations.

Great Tool For Mobile Mechanics like myself
8 October 2021

This is the most convenient inflator that I have used so far. I do mobile maintenance and repair for cars and this tool is great to top off vehicle tires during oil changes and tire rotations. The auto fill to desired psi is great and it helps get the job done faster. My only concern is long term durability. The unit is compact, fills up tires fast but it overheats quickly with continious use. Also the hose is part of the unit so if it breaks it would be difficult to replace.I would like to suggest Milwaukee to make a more rugged inflator in the m18 line with a bigger compressor and the same features as this inflator with a quick connect coupler for the air hose and a mini flood led integrated into the unit so that it can be used on low light conditions to ... MoreThis is the most convenient inflator that I have used so far. Overall great product 4/5 for the overheating issue. Hope to see a similar inflator on the M18 line.

I’d probably buy it again
3 December 2022

Its small and the battery last for many tire fills. But it registers 3.0 psi before i even attach it to the tire. And i have to target it 3.0 psi over what i want. It is also a little flakey about the cutoff level. Kind of a hit/miss. I need to check it with a manual tire gauge to actually get what i need. The screw off connector is a pain as well when you want an accurate pressure. Gotta be quick screwing. Maybe there should have been an adapter for the usual bike pump type quick release fill clamp. I do hope i find a way to calibrate the base value somehow.

M12 inflator
1 May 2023

This is my new best friend! Light weight take it any where. I’ve used it on everything from the semi to the yard cart. I’ve had it for a month. Changed it once right out the box. It’s still got two bars of battery life! I’ve aired up a semi tire 100 psi! Lawn mower tires, lawn cart tires, bike tires, atv tires, vehicle tires, kids bike tires, and even a pool raft. The light up display screen is nice for airing up stuff in the dark corners of the barn or after dark.

Trying to work
19 November 2022

I've been less than impressed with this tool over the past month of ownership. When topping up tires the pump gauge jumps up from actual pressure to the selected air pressure in 5 seconds and cuts off without filling the tires (e.g. tire is at 33psi filling to 36psi; gauge reads 33psi and jumps to 36). Pressing the fill button starts the pump again and pressure resets to actual value (33psi) and then jumps back up to the selected pressure (36psi) and cuts off again without filling the tire. I've been able to get the pump to work by increasing the PSI difference by 5 PSI or more but then there is a 50/50 chance the pump will turn off at the newly selected pressure.
