I love Milwaukee tools, I have tons of m12 and m18 tools, hand tools, you name it. However, I will continue to use a competitor's USB battery system for one reason.ALL my usb devices use usb type c. I carry with me my phone, laptop, camera, wireless mouse, drone, and a few other small devices with me daily, and take my phone and laptop to the jobsite every time. I take with me; one usb c charger and thats all I need. I will NOT carry around a second charger for only Milwaukee's micro usb flashlight.I am so disappointed that Milwaukee continues to cheap out on the charging standard and use an obsolete one instead. It is 2021, not 2015 and this is no longer acceptable.BTW, my friend of mine has this flashlight and I love it, its almost perfect and I would love ... I am just frustrated I will not be able to use it in my EDC and have to stick with a competitor, yet again because it has an obsolete charging port. Please listen to your customers needs, I really want to invest in more of your products but will not be able to yet again for this one simple reason!

As a first responder, electrician and automotive tech i find this light to be my daily go to for being in my pocket. The battery lasts great on medium. For it being 4 star the light occasionally comes on in my pocket. One day it did on full 500 lumens and had a piece of lint stuck to the lens melting the lens. Only indicaiton my pocket got super hot in my firefighting gear. My only complaint is the power on method needs to be more steps to turn on to prevent this. I love this device and hope to to see an improved version in USB-C in the future. 500 lumens is perfect for rescue work in the mountains when you need that burst of light to scan. I hope development sees this review and takes this into consideration. Awesome product and I've had this for more than two ... Had for a few years now and it’s a fantastic little torch for me. Pocket sized, reversible pocket clip so can wear on a cap as a head torch and a magnet. The turbo is 500 lumens but usually just run it at 100 which lasts forever on one battery and is plenty bright enough at that. Only downside is it uses a micro usb charger wish it was usb c but all together a great little torch.

It was a decent light for the 2 or 3 days that I had it. I have a belt sheath that I carry my light in, with an open bottom, so I relied on the provided clip to make sure it was secure. I noticed that the clip kept popping off of it too easily. I’m in and out of heavy equipment and semi’s all day, so it needs to be a much stronger clip. It finally caught on something, ripped the clip off, and the flashlight was gone. I need everything about my work equipment to be durable and strong. Including pocket clips. I will probably spend my money on a Streamlight.
Using this light as a Automotive Mechanic. Absolutely no issues with this light. Was a little worried seeing the other negative reviews but I decided to try it out anyways. Battery lasts a good while and is sometimes too bright on high when working up close. My favorite feature is being able to clip it onto the brim of my hat. No issues with coming into contact with oils and coolant so far ( 1 year ). Also the belt/ hat clip is very strong and secure, something that drove me nuts on my other pen light the clip would always pop off and disappear.
Size was great. Flashlight I used in the store provided excellent light. Light I took home charged properly then when I turned on the light it came on for a sec and went out. Could not get it back on. For $60 I’d expect better quality. I was very disappointed and I was unwilling to get a replacement. Just got my money back. Milwaukee quality department needs to address this supplier. I expected better. I’m
Outstanding light for pocket carry. Use every day with hat clip. One of the best tools I own. Bombproof - I even dropped into used motor oil and it never missed a beat. Strong magnet. Size/power/cost/rechargeable NOTHING better available from anyone. Market leader!
I want to start by saying, I don’t ever give 5 stars to anything. But I’ve used this light for 4 years now and have no complaints at all.I’m a mechanic, and this light is better than any other I’ve tried so far. I’m on my 3rd! The first one lasted 2.5 years & stopped charging. The second one is under the hood of some ladies Cherokee…I don’t use the hat clip part for hats, but if I’m under a hood & don’t have anything metal to stick it too or the angle is funny, I’ll clip it on to some wires and point it wherever without any issues. The magnet is great too! Under cars, just toss it up on anything it’ll stick to & work. That leads me to the size, this thing is pretty small! Probably about 4”… on second though, I’d say that’s about average. Well sized even. But ... MoreI want to start by saying, I don’t ever give 5 stars to anything. Well sized even. But this little guy will fit in so many places! On top of that, drop a bolt? Dip this fella down in there & snatch it with the magnet. All in all, I love this light. I’ve tried a lot of different styles, this is by far my favorite. It fits in the pocket without being too bulky, has 3 settings, stays charged for a solid 3-5 days before yellow light comes on! I love this light.
I’m in the commercial refrigeration service industry for 25 plus years and bought the light a little over a year ago. I use a flashlight like a writer uses a pen. Wanted a light that didn’t have the LED color and didn’t go through AAA batteries like candy so figured I’d give it a try. Worked great for 4-5 months. Then had a stroke and had to be out of work so I’ve been home about 8 months and using it here to tinker when it would hold a charge but now it won’t charge or work. Was one of the best lights I’ve used but it didn’t last. All other coast lights I’ve bought over the years still work. I just wanted to upgrade or so I thought. I own many other Milwaukee power tools so a little disappointed.
I lost this light on a job site and found it several days later, laying in the road. It been run over multiple times. To the point it is no longer round! I was disappointed by the plastic lenses burning but I must say it is a tough little light. Somehow it still takes a change and works, even after being run over multiple times and being out in the elements! I can no longer use it because it gets extremely hot now when I charge it. I guess the battery is somewhat damaged from being ran over.
