The 3/4” drive friction ring cordless impact with one key is an amazing tool. Claiming up to 1,500 foot pounds of torque. It is an extremely helpful and capable tool in the shop. Great for the nuts and bolts that nothing else can break loose. Saves the body tremendously as well in the long run. Great tool and great Job Milwaukee!

Actually I HAD the 3/4 gun, 2 battery with charger combo but that wasn't an option when registering. 1 battery was defective out of the box & instead of being able to walk into a certified repair location (less than 10 miles from my house) I was told I had to return ship the entire kit. So the 15 minutes I had the tool & tried to break loose some lug nuts I was definitely disappointed in the guns inability to move any of the 10 lug nuts. I bench played with it briefly and it wasn't any stronger than the $50 Walmart pneumatic gun that lives under the bench. Hopefully the 3/4 gun was also defective. Time will tell if the replacement ever shows up.

These tools are powerful, probably great for occasional use at home or mechanic shop. I have purchased at least a hundred of these for my company. But when these tools stop working, there is no option to fix yourself. You have to send them to Milwaukee due to the OneKey setup. I like to repair tools in house so sending these out for repair and not getting them back for 4-6 months is terrible for business considering we need to use them on a daily basis. Something should change, so that you don't have to send these off for repair since repairs is always backed up for several months.

This is a super powerful impact. Doesn't get used all the time but when she does she performs. Although one day the "onekey" quit. Impact would run but it was stuck permanently in bolt removal mode. The impact had to go into the repair center. Sat there for probably 2 months until they called and said they had gave me a new impact. The new one I have recieved back hasn't skipped a beat but its only been in my hands for about a month....
I was initially looking for a 3/4 air impact to remove a 1.11/16 nut to change bushhog blades. I have had to load the tractor and drive 40 miles to the tractor shop in the past to have the blades removed. The shop had had a very tough time getting them off with their 3/4 air impact. So I was concerned that an air impact would not work for me since I would need to upgrade my air hose. My compressor also does not kick on until you hit 80 psi, so that also made me concerned that it would not deliver consistent air pressure to do the job. So after much research and reading many reviews , one of which said they were able to change bushhog blades, I bought the Milwaukee m18 3/4 impact. I often have to use a terrace row in the field , so I can get the bushhog high enough to work on it. This takes the hassle out of trying to get a power source and or air source to the field. It will pay for it self over time.
This is my favorite impact gun. It’s light enough that I can use it for quite a wile before my arms get tired. It has enough torque to remove most everything I deal with daily. Usually if I run into something this gun can’t remove. I jump straight to a 1inch air impact. I have a 3/8 gun that never gets used, and a 1/2 impact that I use every once in a while. The 3/4 gun is my daily driver and it rarely disappoints.
We needed to remove a total of 1064 1-3/8" plugs on a large industrial gas cooler for inspection, mind you these units have been in service, outside and untouched for 14 years since construction. This impact made quick work of the process. We originally tried doing it with a breaker bar when we were only going to remove 104 plugs, that was not going to work so we bought this (two actually). This is the right tool for the job.
I can't begin to say enough about this impact gun. I'm a millwirgh at a major recycling company and it's safe to say we put our tools through the harshest of conditions. Everything from grease and oil to rain and the coldest of snow. And time and time again the milwaukee 3/4 impact gun out performs our 3/4 and even 1 inch drive air impacts. If you are even thinking about buying this I would highly recommend it.
For the money, just buy the 3/4. It definitely makes a difference. The power to take stuff off is remarkable. Its not as heavy as i thought it would be. After first charge, they charge quickly. One key isnt that hard to do. Nice fence perimeters for it also. One key should of just been for pros tho. Seperate the homeowners from commercial guys. I absolutely love the hard case it comes in. As for the warranty, thats a big ouch.

The first task was rotating the tires on several 3/4 ton vans. Of course, it removed the lugs with ease. We did some testing and with the phone app and was able to have it stop at a precise torque. Each and every lug was finished with a torque wrench and only required about 1/8 turn to click the wrench. Next was performing the same removing and precise tightening on a large combine tractor. Again we had it set to stop just under the final torque. The final torque was 1100 foot Lbs. The farmer was amazed at how much easier this process was. Next, I was putting in some 1/4" concrete anchors. I finished tightening by hand with a socket wrench and everyone required almost exactly 1/4 turn.The latest challenge was 1/2" stainless steel bolts. We had 4 bolts that were gauled up and would not remove. The could have used a reciprocating saw to cut but instead we used th impact. It broke each of the 1/2" SS bolts! Problem solved.
