This product does NOT live up to it's hype, in real world usage, using high draw tools under heavy load conditions, they don't even come close to M18 12ah HD batteries as touted by the manufacturer. My personal experience had an M18 8ah HD battery blow it away.

Same power as the 12s in a 6? Once you get past they don't mean runtime, but torque, it at least seems plausible. My experience? A plausible yes. I don't own any twelves to compare, but this DOES have more power than my last model 6s (don't think that is just because they are old). I noticed it most w/ my Milwaukee edger. Cuts through dirt better, don't think I am imagining it. Lighter too. ALMOST LOST A FINGER GETTING THEM OUT OF THEIR !@* PLASTIC SHELL NONSENSE! Dangerous.
I’m a Tower Technician, I’ll be on a tower for 12 hours straight and this battery keeps pushing on one charge. Notable performance increase on all my power tools versus the older ones. This battery is great overall. Keep up the great work Milwaukee.
Best battery pack milwaukee has to offer. Tools don't lose torque when using them with this battery, from my experience. Used it on drill, saw, reciprocating saw, impactor.
these batteries are rated 6 amps they do not last long when grinding compared to the 8 amp batteries Milwaukee's claim i feel are exaggerated i can feel the power tail off compared to the 8 or 12 amp batteries
Searched around, best deal I could find
Picked up a couple of these batteries to see what the hype was all about and they are the real deal. Lasts just about a long as the HD12.0 and has just as much power for sure. I used them all afternoon with my weed eater and lead blower and they handled those with ease. Once I get the rapid charge I'll have no problem running these all day every day
