Wish i had bought this thing earlier it is awesome. Took me forever to pull the trigger I read the reviewed and just didn’t wanna get stuck trying to return it but man I’m glad I went for it. Hauls all my boxes perfectly it does have a plastic frame but it is molded like an I-beam giving it extra rigidity plus the glass fiber reinforcement in the plastic is through the roof it’s very solid. The flex people mention in reviews is from the platform due to the fact it can be folded in there is slight movement from the play in the locking mechanism but once your rolling it is not even noticeable. The wheels are set perfectly for scaling stairs and the smooth plastic frame prevents damage too sensitive work areas such as hard wood stair treads if you so happen to slide ... MoreWish i had bought this thing earlier it is awesome. The large base platform accommodates two compact packout boxes which is great with the added bonus of increased leverage when using this cart as a Dolly it makes easy work of appliances when only one person is available. Love the storage in the back for long tools no more running to the trick to grab my level! Paired with a lifetime warranty i seriously can’t think of a reason to give this a bad review.. is it expensive? Sure all milwaukee stuff is but in my opinion is the only real job site cart available if only used for hauling gear it would be great but the fact out doubles as a Dolly is a bonus and being plastic is great when working around finished work as it’s generally “softer” then most building materials meaning less possibility of scratches and dents!

I have loved Milwaukee tools.. but lately, Ive been noticing a reduction in overall quality and design of many Milwaukee products. This dolly is one of them. Who ever designed it was just looking for a quick profit. The plastic is flimsy, the wheels too hard and narrow, the balance is off and overall its way too bulky for what it is. Your better off finding a good dolly and modifying it to hood your Packout cases. The dealer I purchased from was great.. no complaints at all. Milwaukee management and engineers.. if you ever read reviews, and I hope you do.. PAY MORE ATTENTION TO DESIGN. Hire real contractors to give feedback before you put stuff into production. Finally, Milwaukee is a Premium product at a premium price. Focus on improving everything BUT especially ... MoreI have loved Milwaukee tools.. but lately, Ive been noticing a reduction in overall quality and design of many Milwaukee products. Great concept, but not thought through enough. Most of the strength of this unit rely on plastic, the wheels are inboard and makes it very unstable with a full set of drawers on it. (filled with tools) - maybe the engineers forgot we actually use tools... to fix this i got a longer axle and put larger wheels on the outside, photo to come later. going up steps is ok but make sure your square to them or your going over. when it finally breaks i think we will just incorporate a harbor freight dolly to the base with some minor adjustments, or use dewalts system with the milwaukee base...

I received the cart and it came broken which happens and I knew either milwaukee or acme tools would make things right. I was disappointed in the construction of the cart. The frame is made of hardened plastic and a metal handle. Though they rate this cart at 400 lbs, I feel like it would not hold up from regular abuse you would get with a job site. I also found it funny that the part that was broken was the same part that broke during VCG's youtube product review.I think this is a great idea from milwaukee but the execution was poor. I'll wait for gen 2 if they make one.
Got this for running the service side of plumbing with some remodels. It folds up mostly flat to minimize the room it takes up. It feels pretty durable to me and I've beat it up a dozen or so times now. From moving dishwashers up steps, wheeling around empty water heaters or just moving all my tools and supplies in one trip versus multiple. The wheels are pretty hefty, roll moderately well over driveways, gravel and mostly flat terrain. I will say wet grass or large roots can be a fight. The not so good for me, the wheel guards need to cover better when having the bottom down with something other than Packout/box product. The biggest issue I have are the levers to fold the bottom skid up. Keeping pressure on the skid and pulling each lever works. Great over all, and you can add different Packout options for each job.
NOT HEAVY A DUTY CART, This thing is just big, heavy, and came in a large box with Fragile stickers. We joked about it being fragile only to discover that it really is. The bracing on the bottom and middle was broken and the material used seems cheap, not a glass-reinforced resin but actually coded on the pieces that broke as Made in the USA polyethylene plastic. I was told by a SupplyHouse rep that these parts are not designed to be removed or interchanged, so I would need to ship this entire 2 wheel cart back, to get a new one. I'm not totally pleased with this resolution as I would rather not deal with the return hassle associated with such a large item, I would rather have gotten replacement parts and made repairs myself and potentially find a way to reinforce ... MoreNOT HEAVY A DUTY CART, This thing is just big, heavy, and came in a large box with Fragile stickers. I was told by a SupplyHouse rep that these parts are not designed to be removed or interchanged, so I would need to ship this entire 2 wheel cart back, to get a new one. I'm not totally pleased with this resolution as I would rather not deal with the return hassle associated with such a large item, I would rather have gotten replacement parts and made repairs myself and potentially find a way to reinforce these weak points. So, I called 1-800-SAWDUST and spoke with a Milwaukee representative that offered to send me these replacements parts at no charge. I did share my frustrations with the designs of this product with Milwaukee and I have watched videos where individuals are also not pleased with this cart. Not a recomended purchase. Now
It's a clumsy to use on anything but flat surface. The excessive use of plastic makes it top heavy and difficult to load into a truck or SUV. Unlocking the platform is not user friendly. The concept is good, but the execution is a bad cost cutting compromise.
As it’s primary purpose as a tool is being a cart, it severely falls short of this role. It is not stable. Not strong. Annoying to somehow unclip both sides of the cart using both hands while needing another hand to unfold the cart foot.I know the claim of why the wheelbase has the wheels so close was to fit through slim doorways. Yet I would prefer the wheel base be further apart to make it stable enough to carry the packout cases and esp anything heavy without flipping over the entire load on a regular basis. Other than that, the upright clips and base is nice for the pack out system. As is the value is only worth about $50-75 rather than 200.
I love this cart I drive my car to work and don't have much room for all my tools. Plumbers need so many tools! I have lots of packout products but my go to is the 2 drawer on the bottom medium box on top and the crate. I also have a backpack for my hand tools. The best part is I have the 2 bottom packouts in my trunk and load up my crate with with I need. Take it on the job site and have the crate click into the highest section across the back and have a working surface. Really saves from bending over all day. The m12 light clips right onto the handle and is just perfect for me.Downsides- expensive, lots of plastic (good plastic), short wheel base(but good wheels), design of the release is annoying but solid.
I finally got the my packout hand truck, i like the ability to take my needed packout boxes and the crate with misc tools into basement without making multi trips,it wont carry a refridgerator but it does what i need it to. im a HVAC contractor for 40yrs now ,i cant believe im still buying tools but if milwaukee keeps making ill keep buying. my truck &garage is full of milwaukee. cordless, corded and hand tools.great job milwaukee & thank you acme tools for making it possible to get.
