We bought these 3 years ago and they are very comfortable. Yesterday whilst singing my son happy birthday one suddenly broke under my husband. The part where the fabric attached to the seat just snapped and my husband is a small - medium sized man so well under the weight range.I've always really loved the look of these chairs and they have been kept out of the sun under a well sheltered verandah the whole time but I am replacing all 6 with something else now. My husband has strained his back and grazed his hand and elbow. He managed to catch himself from falling but my mother wouldn't have been able to if it was her chair, nor my children.They made it to 3 years so maybe consider these "for now" chairs rather than long term pieces.

These chairs are very comfortable and have strong frame. They are easy to fold and convenient to store.. However the fabric in the seat is showing signs of wear where it is stretched over the wooden frame. This is so even though they have been used only twice so far..

I bought 8 of these chairs. They Look fabulous but three have broken within two weeks of intermittent use. They seem very fragile where any knot or screw join is. Have returned two so far and got replacements only to have a third break also. Those using the chairs were well under the acceptable weight for the chair. Will be looking at returning the unopened four I still have.

Don't bother with these. Look great, but all the fittings are composite metal, ( not stainless or galvanized ) and my 6 rusted within 1 month even being under our balcony. To Bunnings credit, they refunded the whole purchase, but they are just rubbish. spend a bit more and go for a solid timber outdoor chair
Have used these chairs for many years. They last around 3 seasons if left out in the elements. Very comfortable and I like the latest addition of a safety support on the rear legs.
These chairs are exactly what we were looking for. Beautiful timber chairs with nice, sturdy material on the seat and back. Good quality & look very pleasing.
We only purchased it recently, but so far it seems to be solid enough. We didn't expect a super robust chair for that price.So time will tell how long it will last.The colour is a bit dull (cream) - so we got a coloured cushion for the seat & draped a large kiwiana teatowel over the back part. We fixed that with 3 larger saftey pins to the main fabric.
Very good product.. Previous chairs of this kind lasted 5 yrs outside before covers weakened. Unfortunately no replacement covers seem to be available.
I loved this chair, I bought 6 of them. it's giving to my DYO dinning table a very contemporary style. Good quality and very easy to change the fabric. Foldable and light making moving and even house cleaning very easy.
The maintenance guy would not assemble this chair for me as he did not want to be deemed responsible for a possible collapse of the chair - he deemed it "unsafe to put together and unsafe for us " the chair is supposed to be assembled together with 4 thin bamboo sticks (provided) - Bunnings are doing their customers a disservice by selling it to the public. And definitely the price of $145 does not warrant such a cheap, unsafe product.
