Mind Reader 4 Tier Steel Mesh Paper Tray Desk Organiser, Black

This could be a great product. Unfortunately, as I was assembling this, the screws latch into what looks like a wall anchor in the metal rod. The wall anchor pops out with the least amount of pressure. I simply started sliding the trays in and that was enough pressure to pop the wall anchor out from the rod thereby causing the whole frame to collapse. I am trying super glue, otherwise the product will be returned.

I originally gave this a better rating before I got a chance to use it. A piece fell off within one week of receiving this tray, and I haven't used it since I purchased it last year. I'm very disappointed with this product.

Even Better in Person

I was intrigued by this file organizer because it did not look like the same kind that everybody's been using for a million years. To be honest I have expected to receive it and find it to be flimsy and not really functional. It was just the opposite. I bought two of them and the box that I came in was heavier than I expected. I was tired of my desk having piles over in this corner and that corner and over off to a side table and I really needed something where I could put these piles but put them in something that I could pull out easily and not be buried under other file trays. It took me about 3 or 4 minutes to put together each of the organizers and I have them on my desk and on a side table and I love them. Sometimes you hate to overly praise something because you know the price will go up and you'll never buy it again but the price I paid for these were excellent and I think a way better value than the old stuff file organizers

Faulty product, unable to assemble

In order to assemble this desk organizer, you have to insert screws into holes along the side, BUT the hole cutouts were bent and not big enough to insert the screws - so I couldn't even put it together - at all. I tried using a tool to make the hole bigger, and that didn't work either. Considering the price, I wouldn't take a chance on this, as yours could arrive faulty as well. The color doesn't match the picture either. It's more of berry pink.

Not Balanced

Purchased this item and assembled as directed. It is lopsided and unstable. I waited a week for this to ship and I can't even use it. I do not recommend this product.

Not Only is it Great, but it Looks Good Too

I really like this product. It does exactly what I wanted it for. It was easy to put together. Once I tightened the screws it was stable. The baskets are the perfect size for holding 81/2 by 11 printer paper and there is enough space between the baskets to see at a glance what is in the basket. It is a great organizer.

Not good

When you went to screw the two bars on the side as tight as possible the trays still did not fit right.It was lopsided. It would tip and the trays kept falling on each other. I throw away the stand and kept the trays only. Waste of money. Please don't buy this product.

Slides smoothly

This offers enough pace to stack upnsome mail. Its about 1.5 to 2 inches high between each tier. Each tier slides in and out easily. The light grey color goes with any decor. I like that its not too heavy but also sturdy enough to stay in place when sliding the drawers in or out. The handle on the top allows me to pick up the whole thing along with all the mail (oh so much mail) which is really convenient when wiping dust off the table. Slightly pricey but still worth it.

Twisted and unstable but usable

When assembled, this product was twisted so that one leg is significantly shorter than the others and resting off the countertop. It is very sturdy and thus impossible to twist back. I can't tell if mine is just damaged or if it's a design flaw. I kept it, though, because you can't tell unless you look at the feet. Overall, it provides a nice place to organize paper, and I use the top for scissors and other small items. The trays each slide out, although I have not needed to use that feature.

Yes, please

This was a product where I'd read a few reviews saying it was hard to put together. That was not our experience, and I'm quite pleased with it. It is sturdy, looks nice, and is useful. Several piles which were scattered across my desk now have a home! It's far nicer than other tray organizers I've seen around town. I'm definitely glad we got it.Again, Mind Reader (and Macy's) - nice job! I love your products! We've bought a number of Mind Reader items this year and they've all been exceptional.
