This is my honesy review.I had oily acne prone skin. before 1 and half year i started using minimalist products that is vitamin c in the morning and retinoid in the night every alternative day because i was beginner and started introducing face acid serum first time. In the beginning i used those products followed by cetaphyl moisturizer. So initially it started purging and lasted till 2 months so i avoided the sun completely as it was work from home and then i started using sunscreen. Believe me after that i was very happy to see my face in mirror as it faded pigmentation oily look, all acnes and acne marks. Components like the type and concentration of vitamin C, the ingredient list, and even the kind of bottle or dispenser make or break your serum’s benefits and your skin. But, don't worry! You can trust on Minimalist blindly. I have been using the Vit C serum regularly in the morning for past 2 months soon after I wake up and cleanse my face. It protects me against sun damage, brightens up my skin tone and leaves a glowing effect and keeps my skin healthy. I always layer it up with a light moisturizer and a sunblock to get better results and I've been flattered by the results lately!

It is the best serum I have ever purchased in my whole life. This is my third time buying it. It is non sticky and has no irritation, gets rid of your acne , acne scars. Before using it my face had so many tiny bumps and acne scars but after using it for like a month or too my skin got cleared and my skin had a beautiful glow on it . You guys should definitely try it there is some before and after photos

Have only been using the Vitamin C Super Serum for a week or so now and I love it. I’ve always used the Vitamin C powder. The serum is obviously easy to apply and my skin has taken really well to it. I use it in the am followed by the Multi Activ Oil and then moisturiser. It feels nice and light on the skin. Very happy with this product.
My skin is dry and sensitive, I had bad allergic reaction to Minimalist Vit C 10%+AG on my upper eye lids, under eyes and lips, had to use topical steroid to calm it down . I reached out to Customer rep who explained me how to use it correctly and i followed the same steps recently this time for patch test on my neck and arm (which i should have done in the 1st place before putting it on face) , surprisingly i got same reaction at both places . Earlier i was thinking its my face skin which is sensitive but when i got it on neck and arm it made me think its something with formula. I can see from reviews that its working for others but this is definitely not good for people with sensitive skin, probably they should put that on the box . However I would have loved if the formula was well rounded and had some more antioxidants or maybe a higher percentage of active.Nevertheless the serum is good for beginners.Few suggestions:-Previous few realise can be upgraded with a well rounded formula.- Lactic acid serum can be of lower percentage.- Facial mists with hydrating and soothing ingredients (green tea extract, licorice extract, centella water, propolis, tamanu oil etc)- Affordable sunscreen which is broad spectrum (blue light protection will be appreciated)- Affordable tinted suncreen- Oil cleanser with hempseed oil, tamanu oil and other oils which can do the job but help with acne prone skin too.- Affordable gental cleanser for ... MoreThe vitamin c serum is good. Bought this pathetic serum a couple of weeks back and started seeing smile lines on my face for the first time in my life! This product should be banned! Have read enough reviews by skin care experts to confidently put this out here. The Minimalist should be investigated for fraudulent claims and ingredients. There are lots of such fake up and coming skincare brands in India that are blatantly burning investor money in marketing and cheating public with such fraudulent claims. It is a well known fact that enough R&D and testing needs to be done before going to market but these brands have show up from nowhere, launching product lines overnight. Consult a dermat before buying skin care actives. Please don’t buy them off the self without professional consultation.
I can see visible difference in my face after using this serum. I am 21 years old and this is my first ever vitamin c. Minimalist brand vitamin c serum made me believe in that brand. It took 2 weeks to see the results for me. I have very oily tzone combination skin. First two days i got few bumps and then I realized i was using a glycolic acid based moisturizer after applying the vitamin c serum and i know this is where i got it wrong. So i stopped my moisturizer and bought another one which can be paired up with vitamin c.My skin has become bright, even outs and a glowing face!I have been using this for 3 weeks and these are my results. Initially I had many many small acnes all over my face, I thought I am having allergies. But I had faith in the bottle of vitamin c of minimalist. I continued using it even if I had cystic acne.Gradually those acne vanished in a day.So if you have acne by using it, DON'T PANIC AND THROW OF THE BOTTLE, JUST WAIT!It will work, have patience. Jaadu nahi hoga , give your skin little time to adapt to it.

It has also possibly shrinked the appearance of my pores on my cheeks near and around my nose.
