I consulted a dermatologist and she was okay with me continuing with this face wash. And, this suited me even then. It's mild and I love the ingredients, don't love the new packaging though in a tube, it falls over. Rest amazing!

It is the best salicylic acid based cleanser I have tried so far as it's gentle on the skin and doesn't irritate/dry out the skin too much. It works better if you leave it on for a few minutes. The product lasts you a really long time for the price which is great. Personally, I don't mind the watery consistency or the new packaging too much as others have pointed out. However, if you're expecting the cleanser alone to do away with your excess sebum and acne, you will be disappointed. The product alone doesn't do much for either.

Old bottle pack was convenient, doesnt leaked and easily one can pour generous amount of face wash as required. But my horrible experience when i got new packing in tube , facewash consistency is same liquid rather than gel Nd so, when i opened tube to use and take small amount, all liquid came out without any sense from tube and its a total wastage, unnecessary liquid facewash, bottle was easy to pour n use. Make it bottle one again or change its liquid consistency to gel form so that it doesnt leak from tube evrytime one's open to use. Its seriously bad idea to reform to tube from bottle. So im changing my brand and wont use it again.

For the first month or so, this product was absolutely a boon, before niacinamide in the morning and salicylic in the evening and my skin has cleared up a lot from before. Barely any breakouts. The problem starts after more than a month of use (one bottle provided around three months of use for me). My skin became extremely dry and started peeling every time I used this facewash. I thought this was normal and that following up with toner, serums and moisturizer would leave it feeling good again. I have been using the cleanser for last one year. I have emptied approx 4-5 bottles of it. I washed my face twice in a day yet my product used to last for good 45-50 days. The changed tube packaging doesn't make any sense as it wastes a lot of product unnecessarily. The consistency of the product isn't for a tube packaging. It flows out like water and the one I ordered in the first week of May is already on the verge to finish. If Old packaging isn't replaced, the price point compared to the wastage its causes, the buy doesn't make any sense. The product is undoubtedly amazing, I am a fan, but bring back the old bottle.
The earlier bottle was so easy to use!! Had used them so long. I had no idea and ordered two of this facewash and came in tube!! Seriously!! Either this is a plot by your packaging team against the Brand or something is wrongly put in. Not happy with the tube. The product does wonder but if the tube continues, you're losing customer soon. I'm a guy and my dresser is filled with all of ur serums and facewash. Even my wife gets shocked!! Calls me Minimalist Brand Ambassador. But this tube packing is one of the worst. It isn't a gel or cream to be in a tube!!
People with sensitive skin beware, using salicylic acid may cause extreme skin conditions. They should give you warning about this. Using 2 products of salicylic acid, the serum and cleanser is a strict NO. I had adverse skin condition where I had to consult dermatologist. Vitamin C and Niacinamide have done their good effects of brightening and smoothing skins, using tranexamic acid and rosehip oil dark spots did not magically vanish but yes reduced a bit. No effects on pores till now. But whatever effect all the products had salicylic acid have reversed the effect. Too disheartening. Either they should start trial packs for the products or give proper warning, 'do a patch test', doesn't work always as sometimes adverse effects come after few usage of the products.

Thought of continuing to use this product but it was my worst decision because a week later after receiving it again on 24th June 2022 my face was all red and painful. My earlier skin conditions appeared again and there were pus filled skin again. All the ingredients which the product contained harmed my skin and investing money in this product was a mistake.i expect your administration to reach out to me because there is no way i want to spend money just to get myself into a more worse situation. I needed a double wash with this and even then it feels like some build up is still left. For first wash, it wont even froth up to start cleansing. But , it definitely is hydrating and makes skin supple.All it needs is a notch or two more surfactant power and it will be excellent for oiliest of skin types. So, I think they should have used 2% salicylic acid completely and improve its anti acne properties with something like benzoyl peroxide.As benzoyl peroxide is drying, low surfactant ability and hydrating effect of this product would have created a dream formula.To conclude, its good for normal and dry skin types. But for oilies out there this definitely needs to be reformulated.
okay to start off, the cleanser is great! very mild on the skin and helps keep acne at bay. The only problem i have with this cleanser is the packaging. Now that they have changed it to a tube, it gets very very difficult to use the facewash without it being all over the place ( basically spillage) and the facewash has a very very runny texture which just adds on to the problem. Maybe if the only the packaging is changed i would give this facewash a 5 star :) Sorry minimalist you are a great brand but i am irritated to a point where im thinking of shifting the facewash to an old empty facewash bottle to not cause spillage.
