These light are by far one of the best changes I’ve made towards making my house more sensory friendly. Having the ability to change the warmth and brightness of the lights dependent on what I’m needing for different times of the day has improved my mental health phenomenally. It’s also pretty awesome not having to stand up to turn the lights off now. And my son loves having fun with the different colour options too.

I bought these about a year ago and they're still kicking strong, it was simple to set up but you have to have a 2.5g wifi which is easy enough to switch to when using the lights

These lights were impossible to connect if you don't have an isolated 2.4ghz wifi connection. After some research many other people online have run into the same problem as me. They are unusable for me.
Bought these, installed the app and wasn’t able to create an account to even try them out. Called Mirabella and was told “yeah, just wait longer. There’s a problem with the app”. #wasteoftime
Perfect works perfectly easy to set up and use and connect to google
I am now running 13 of these smart globes, 3 of the Mirabella strip lights, several Mirabella smart outlets and a few other smart products. No problems at all. They ONLY RUN ON THE 2.4GHZ frequency of home networks and routers. Although 2.4gHz has slower data transfer speeds than 5gHz this provides a better range vs the 5gHz. High data transfer rates are not required, it is on or off. I use these with security cameras such as Grid connect brand cameras which are also available at Bunnings. All of these are TUYA based products and can be controlled using the one Smart Life or TUYA App so you don't need an app for each product if you use more than just Mirabella. The only downside, because they are TUYA based products they are cloud based with an overseas data centre ... If you have a high latency internet connection sometimes they can be a little slow to respond. All work well with Google Assistant. To avoid a cloud server they can be used with Home Assistant and a home server which can be a challenge to setup and use for the less experienced.
I have bought many Mirabella lights - Edison, bayonet, downlights- they have all worked rather well- some 12 months old now. Connecting them to the app is reasonably straightforward- you do not to be persistent at times. If you can’t connect through the standard procedure, the ‘AP’ connection has always worked as a backup - I won’t lie, It can get tricky, BUT this has been caused when I have moved a globe from one residence to another and had to ‘reset’ it. As long as you are a bit savvy with smart tech appliances and apps, they’re good value for simple stuff around the home.
Do not buy this product if you can't switch your modem to 2.4MHzI wasted so much time trying all the usual workarounds that normally mean you can connect with a 2.4MHz product using a 5G modem, but no luck - took them back and swapped them for Arlec Smart Globes - cheaper and connected first try with no problems.
returning the product as its not compatible with telstra NBN as it uses both 2.4ghz and 5ghz.
