A great shoe, but not for low arches

Great Running Shoe for Ankle Stability
29 August 2023
I have some serious ankle issues and severely supinate whenever I have any ankle instability. The heel counter on these Mizuno shoes have saved me from some terrible ankle sprains that I would have experienced if I was wearing other shoes.I will be a customer for life of these shoes and recommend them to anyone who has an over supinating ankle issue.... Great shoe although sizing is a bit off
5 March 2023
Great running shoe, however, the sizing sucks. Had an old version of wave runners from years ago which I used for ages and is still my favourite running shoe. So I decided to stick with the same brand and style. Stuck with the same size whilst also trying on a size smaller and half size smaller. None of them felt right. Either way too small or just a bit too big. I stuck with a 10 like I've always had and even with thicker socks and trialling an additional inner-sole I can say they still don't fit properly. Other than this issue, the shoe is great and has everything you'd expect from a good modern running shoe.... Show more

Great shoes
6 December 2023
Took a chance and bought 2 pairs due to the offer price and am not disappointed. Had my first run yesterday of about 4.5 miles. Certainly firmer than my previous saucony shoes, but still extremely comfortable. It was damp and frosty on the pavements and the shoes felt very stable and grippy. Lightweight too so all round great shoe 5⭐️... Show more

Great shoe that is above the normal running shoe.

Fantastic shoe, very bouncy and springy plate in the bottom. I have Wave Rider Neo's and they are much softer but I run faster in these shoes. Probably 20 secs per kilometre. Colour is vibrant and the shoe hugs my foot.... Show more

Huge improvement for my foot and lower leg pain
28 October 2023
Making a huge difference with my foot and lower leg pain.Fleet Feet scanned my feet and recommended five excellent models from quality brands (Hoka, Brooks, Saucony, New Balance, and Mizuno). All were comfortable and supportive to varying degrees, but for my feet, the Mizono Wave Rider was clearly the better. Feet are so personal and unique, so what is great for me, may be only so-so for you, but these have been such a significant improvement over what I used to shop for on my own (without the proper guidance and knowledge of brands and models the way the Fleet Feet staff have). And I have to admit to being initially reticent, as it was the one brand I had no prior familiarity with. I would happily buy this product again!
23 December 2022
I am a casual runner, normally getting 2-4 runs in a week and these shoes are awesome. Normally I have soreness breaking in shoes but this new pair from Mizuno wasn't like that. I also enjoy the wave-knit upgraded look and the color options. Having neutral colors to pick from is great as I tend to wear my running shoes outside of my normal runs for the extra stability and find some other color schemes too vibrant to match with casual outfits so a plain black look is great!... Wave Rider 26
6 March 2023
I’m a fan of Mizunos, this is my 4th pair and 3rd pair in Wave Rider series. They feel more cushioned than the 25s and have more sprung, think I’m running faster in them. Only negative was that they didn’t even come in a Mizuno branded box and no care /instructions labels etc.Made me think they were returns.... Show more
