Toe box on right shoe had a noticeable indent which would cause blister to big toe. I find it hard to believe that such a defect could get through any quality control measures. Returned item immediately for refund, but refund process seems slow.Would not buy Mizuno shoes again; if refund takes much longer might not be using Start Fitness again either.Update: received full refund, including postage, from Start Fitness - slow process but happy to continue using them.... Awful for my feet!
This is my first Mizuno shoe and I chose these because I have really flat feet. I also need to put inserts to all of my running shoes for further support. Walking around with inserts plus the shoes wave plate is fine. However, the second I took the shoes for a run, it utterly wrecked my feet. I just money on shoes I'll never wear. Altitude Sports should offer a 90-day shoe trial, similar to Brooks for runners in need of new shoes because in my case checking out a new brad meant dead money.... Show more

Comfortable Stability
This is the 4th Mizuno Wave Inspire I've used in the 5years I've been running and it's the best one yet! The new Enerzy foam is much more cushioned and lighter than past versions. The wave plate works well to give you stability that you need, but doesn't overpower your stride. It has good energy return and the after a few runs it looks like it will last a long time like previous versions. The step in comfort is great with enough room in the toe box for my semi wide feet. It has a gusseted tongue with a really comfortable upper. Looking forward to many miles in them 😁... Show more

Do not buy!
Both shoes have developed holes in the upper just below the end of my big toe. They are only 3 months old, and I exclusively wear them for walking. I have never experienced such rapid degradation in a pair of running shoes. When I contacted customer support, they dismissed my concerns. I went back to the store where I purchased them and received a similar response. This will be the first and last pair of Mizuno shoes I ever purchase.... Show more

Great Colourway - Comfort Mixed
I'm an avid Mizuno runner owner. I try each years new models going way back. Changes I've noticed this year are a higher platform which seems to be the trend in runners these days. I also found the foam softer than older models of Wave Inspires.I really enjoyed the heal strike and heal roll. The midfoot role felt a bit clunky/clumsy.Overall this is one of my favourite colourways in a while. The comfort I found average compared to older models. But comfort is specific to my foot. You may have a different experience.... Show more

Great running shoes, despite the collection charge
Spotted these shoes at a great price, as Mizuno had just issued a newer version. Goodness knows what the difference is, besides a colour change, so I was delighted to be able to get the previous model at 50% off. The only fly in the ointment was that my size wasn't in stock, so ordered online to collect in store. This came complete with a charge of £4.99. Why? No other major retailer charges for click and collect, especially when it's down to poor stock management.... Show more

Mizuno Wave Inspire 19
Fit really well. Each time I wear the previous model out (usually every 12 months) I just upgrade to the next model and they always work and support me in my running. Consistency of experience is key. I want to make it as easy as possible to exercise and having shoes that always perform the same way is a big plus.... Show more

Perfect fit and comfort
A few years ago, I invested in a pair of Mizuna Wave Inspire shoes and was delighted with the quality. Recently, when it was time for a new pair, I decided to purchase the same shoes for their comfort, style, and unbeatable price. Thanks to Athlete's Foot for the seamless online purchase process. I'm thrilled with my new shoes!... Show more

Perfect shoes !
These are exactly the shoes I need. I chose the version with the greatest stability and it holds my foot in the perfect position for walking with my knee over my foot. My physiotherapist is very happy. I had had these shoes several years ago and I'm VERY happy I returned to them. The width is exactly right for my foot also. The shoe is balanced in such a way that I no longer need my custom made orthotics. There is nothing about this shoe I do not like. I am wondering if the simple inserts can be replaced when they wear out.... Show more

Shoe soles wear out quickly
Comfortable shoe and looks the same as the Inspire 18 but I noticed the sole is wearing after only 4 weeks of walking/jogging 3 x times week. That is really poor compared to the Inspire 18's I have worn in the last 2 years. Don't know if the sole material has been changed with the 19's but I won't be buying them again and will have to replace them in about 6 weeks at this rate. Not value for money really... Show more
