My previous wide shoe for racking up miles was the Brooks Ghost 13. To add some variety in my stride I went with this shoe. I average 50 miles a week so I go through shoes often. First 20 miles I noticed the shoe was more bouncy than the Ghost 13 and it was a little harder. After mile 21 it does soften up. Compared to the Ghost 13 because of the energy transfer in the bounce design I am running 10-20 seconds faster in my per mile pace when training. So if you want to add more tempo to your run while racking miles this might be your shoe.

Been running for over 30 years, 5'7 and about 163 pounds. These shoes performwith every workout type: long, easy, tempo, sprints.I run mostly on the roads.Very comfortable with minimal break in period. Just bought my second pair.Enjoy!

I have become a huge fan of Mizuno shoes. They hold up longer and are more comfortable than anything else I have tried. The Wave Rider 25 waveknit that I just purchased is no exception and are extremely comfortable. I just wish I found Mizuno shoes sooner and will continue to use Mizuno for any shoes I need in the future. Thanks for making an awesome shoe.

Great shoe comfortably light weightEszy to wearGood for tired old feet super shoeBest ever and believe everyone would like them
I do my everyday training in this shoe and some races at distances from 3 - 15 miles per run. Noticeable but subtle improvements in cushioning make it better for me than last year's model. The cushioning seems smoother in the transition and slightly bouncier. Love it.
I've probably bought 12-15 pairs (or more) of this shoe over the years and I've been extremely happy with them. Previously I tried a variety of brands (Nike, Saucony, New Balance, ASIC, Brooks) and I never could find one I could stay with from one version to the next. I get 400-500 miles out of each pair without difficulty and the fit has remained true over the years.
These are my second pair of the Mizuno Wave Rider 25. I purchased originally in the spring as a walking shoe for Europe (lots of Cobblestone streets and sidewalks). We do a tremendous amount of walking and they have held up really well and alleviate the pain and fatigue I was having wearing my Hoka running shoes. They are so comfortable I ordered a second pair!
Ordered these online as I have had two pairs previously. Last pair model 22 was quite wide, which suited me. This one will probably stretch up a bit but it is not the instant comfort I was hoping for. They are a good shoe, but will probably just go into a shop next time.
I've worn Mizuno Wave Riders for many years because of the comfortable fit. This one seems to protrude subtly into my heal, causing blisters over time. This is my first Waveknit, so not sure if there's something about the Waveknit style or just this latest iteration as a whole. Switching to another brand to be safe.
Loved the 23s, disliked the 24s. These 25s are closer to the 23s: lighter, less of the weird tongue and more flexible than the 24s. Great for my longer runs.
