Excellent engine oil. My vehicles run great and quiet using this as apposed to some cheaper oils which are a false economy as they break down to nothing around 2000 miles. This ensures my engines are well protected until the next oil and filter change.

Mobil 1 ESP 5w-30 Advanced Fully Synthetic Engine Oil - 5 Litres

I was asked to review this oil, but obviously I am not an expert on oil chemistry. However, I can say that after running in, I have used Mobil 1 5w30 exclusively in my Caterham 7 Ford engine. After 60,000+ miles including significant track use it still runs well with no sign of reduced performance and doesn't use any oil in normal use. I will continue using it.

Good oil for cars with dpf, Im using it for several years on my Golf Mk6 1.6 tdi and Golf Mk7 1.6 tdi, just bought again these oil for my new second hand car BMW e60 530d. Remember to change your oil every 6000. Anything more than that is killing your engine slowly. 6000 miles or 1 year.

I bought my Seat Leon FR new in 2009. After the first 3 services with the main dealer, I have had it serviced every year in the same garage specializing in VW, Audi, Seat and Skoda. I have always provided my own Oil, (Mobil 1 ESP 5w-30 Advanced Fully Synthetic). The car is fifteen years old in September and the engine runs like new, never needing a top up between services. I believe this speaks volumes for the quality of this oil.

I’ve found this oil brilliant in my car which has a 1600 vvt Toyota engine. I’m convinced that a few years ago when I started to use Mobil ESP that my mpg definitely went up.I keep a very close watch on how many mpg I’m getting and it’s definitely gone up. The engine has done 60,000 miles and after using Mobil ESP in it from 23,000 miles the engine is really whisper quiet and as good as ever.I really believe it’s due to Mobil ESP.This is the oil recommended by Porsche and as far as I know leaves the production line filled with Mobil ESP.BTW. No I don’t have shares in Mobil 😀

Wrong viscosity listed

Every time I apply this to my vehicle, 2018 VW Passat, it tells me 5W30 is an "exact fit" for my car. That is not the correct viscosity. It should be 0W20 per the owners manual. It's great oil but I can't recommend the wrong stuff.

I bought this oil online because it is dexos 2 (diesel) certified. upon arrival, found out mobil 1 changed their formula, and this oil no longer has the dexos 2 certification anywhere on it. The person behind the counter tried telling me that just the label changed but it is the same oil. WHICH IS COMPLETELY FALSE! Luckily I had enough sense to not listen to him and go do my own research, as it is no longer dexos 2 approved since they changed the formula. If i would have put this into my vehicle, not only would it void the warranty (if my truck was still under warranty), but it would likely in fact end up trashing my motor. Nothing changed about the product inside of it". Thats how you cause thousands of dollars of damage to customers vehicles. Don't give me a false answer if you don't know the real correct answer.
