Brilliant sealing product for all materials

It was used to seal writing done with permanent marker pen on small plastic balls. It was brilliant, it dried completely clear and writing actually became sharper and easier to read. I did try clear nail varnish prior to using Mod Poge but that just smeared the writing. Will be using Mod Poge from now on for all sorts of projects which require a clear sealed finish. I purchased the shiny product but there is a matte version as well. Excellent product.

Endless uses for crafts, easy application

This is a great size to have if you just want to use it for one or two small crafts. Also perfect if you’re traveling with crafts in tow. Once I used this, I refilled it with Modge Podge from my big bottle to take on the go. It also helps my bigger bottle from drying out since I don’t need to open it as often.

Favorite finish and sealer for paper projects

This is my go-to finish for my paper flower projects. Any time I need a subtle sheen finish to my paper leaves or petals, Mod Podge Matte is the way to go. It's not glossy at all, but does have a very small amount of shine when compared next to plain paper. This small 2 oz. size is perfect for using in my workshops, each student gets their own small bottle to take home.

Great Customer Service

This is a review of my experience rather than this product which is also very good and i would recommend using Mod Podge.I wanted to go int the store to look at products but it was C&C only. Despite this understandable H&S precaution, I was still able to get the info i needed thanks to the very helpful member of staff at Farnborough called Charlotte. She listened to my needs in regards to paint and fan brushes and gave good advice and made the difficult circumstance actually quite quick due to her knowledge and great attitude. I hope Charlotte gets some recognition as she is a credit to the company. Many Thanks!

Great for decoupage and other crafts!

I used this to decoupage my sewing/craft table and it was great! It did make the scrapbook paper I used a little darker but I did use several coats. I also used it as an acrylic paint sealer on some fake leather felt I painted without any changes to the felt-leather or the paint color. It is definitely has a matte finish and it dries clear, even if you put a little too much on. A word of advice if you do use this to decoupage, it dries very, very quickly and it incredibly hard to get off it you need to change something.

Great size,reasonable price!

I love the fact that I wanted to try this product from watching a DIY on YouTube but I didn’t want to get a large bottle. Luckily Michaels had a smaller oz size bottle that I can try at a great low price!

Perfect Sealer

The matte Mod Podge is the perfect after paint sealer. I painted a decorative wood box and chose the matte finish to seal the acrylic paint, and this stuff is dynamite. It looks so beautiful! It's so easy to apply and get smooth, and a little bit goes a long way.

Preserving a 16 yr old Easter Egg wreath.

The egg shells on my Easter Egg wreath were starting to crack and peel off. I didn't know what to do to save it. I bought the wreath when we moved to our new home, 16yrs ago so it meant a lot to me to preserve it. I took it to Michaels and was given excellent advice. I painted each egg with Mod Podge and repaired several eggs that had parts of the shell missing. It was easy to do and I was astonished it worked so well! It's now preserved for years to come.
