Moët Impérial is the House’s iconic champagne. Created in 1869, it embodies Moët Chandon’s unique style, a style distinguished by its bright fruitiness, its seductive palate and its elegant maturity. Created from more than 100 different wines, of which 20% to 30% are reserve wines specially selected to enhance its maturity, complexity and constancy, the assemblage reflects the diversity and complementarity of the three grapes varietals. Dosage is 7g/ltr,.30-40% Pinot Noir, 30-40% Pinot Meunier, 20-30% of Chardonnay.Moët Imperial, is the House’s flagship champagne, owes its name to Emperor Napoleon Bonaparte. He visited our estates in Epernay numerous times and awarded Jean-Remy Moët one of France’s highest honours, the medal of the Légion d’honneur. Legend has it that Napoleon and his troops invented the tradition of sobering open bottles of Moët to celebrate victory.

Perfect for an on-the-go or small celebration. Maybe even the way to do socially distanced gatherings nowadays. I’ve purchased a few times. I tend to go for the typical 750ml bottle rather than the half. While the brand wouldn't qualify as economical, it’s not outrageously expensive, either. It’s mainstream, and the brand carries a cost. That said, other mega brands in the champagne world taste far less appealing. Moët is tasty and enjoyable anywhere, anytime!

This champagne has been around forever!! An oldy but a goody, when you sip this you will never be disappointed. It has a lovely flavour, isn't sour or sharp in any way. Even the bottle it comes in is elegant - so an awesome gift. I only really have champagne for a celebration, but this one makes me always want more. It's price is in the low-mid range. Definitely one you want to try. It's worth it.

Moet Imperial is the House's iconic champagne. Created in 1869, it embodies the unique Moet Chandon style; a style that distinguishes itself by its bright fruitiness, seductive palate, and elegant maturity.; Vibrant intensity of green apple and citrus fruit; fresh mineral nuances and white flowers; elegant blonde notes of brioche and fresh nuts; Fresh white-fleshed fruits (pear, peach, apple) and vibrant citrus fruit brought to life with fine, lively bubbles and a bright finish;

I find it quite refreshing. It guarantees a perfect night out with friends. This was delicious, it went well with white meat, at least for me. It had the perfect sweetness without being overwhelming flavors. It is priced right as well. I'm not much of a champagne drinker, but it compares above than some others that I have tried. I specifically like it mixed with Chambord!

Always Delivers

Moet et Chandon Brut is always delicious and always delivers... consistently smooth and crisp. It's a staple at my celebrations. Everyone loves it and the packaging is so festive. I have compared it to more expensive brands and could not find a reason to spend more money. You can pay more but why bother!

I purchased the Chandon Garden Spritz and Chandon Brut as a gift for my sons partner. She loved it !! I live in Scotland, they live in Melbourne. The ordering process was straight forward and the delivery was quick. Will definitely use Secret bottle again.

Poorly packaged

Bought some Moet Chandon Champagne as a gift for someone. Over £40 and Asda just deliver it with no box and a shabby marked bottle/label! Disgraceful! I won’t be shopping in Asda again if that’s how you treat customers who are willing to spend a fair bit of money with you.

Refreshing
16 November 2019

I am new to Champagnes and generally prefer red and white wines. This is a refreshing wine. A yeasty nose leads to bracing acidity the perks up the mouth to full attention. Lemon peel, green apples, chestnuts on the palate that leads to a fairly long and tantalizing finish. Yes, this comes from a big champagne house. One expects the controlled consistency. One may even expect it to be on the generic or boring side. Yes it is controlled but not boring. Quite polished and enjoyable. Does it deserve the 92 pt rating from WS. I do not have tastes developed yet to answer that. I am not sure how an NV champagne can even be rated. Are they that consistent in taste year over year? Is it worth the price? That is not a question one should ask while drinking champagne. Enjoy!
