I bought the shower gel as a gift for my son as he loves the re charge Black pepper smell and finds the smell lasts on his skin. Also he loves the Molton Brown shower gels as they lather quickly & he says he feels clean & fresh after using it. Not alot of gel is needed to wash with as a small amount in the hand goes along way and therefore even though Molton Brown is the higher end of prices for shower gel it is actually economical in the long run plus nature friendly. I also use the Molton Brown range.

This shower gel is a favourite in our house. Amazing smell and leaves your skin cleansed and fresh. Love the zing from the black pepper and is popular with the whole household. Definitely given it a go if you haven’t used it before. I also brought the seasonal shower gel for a friend this Christmas which smelt utterly delightful and full of seasonal tones.

The eucalyptus shower gel is just fabulous. It smells like a high-end spa and opens up your sinuses in a refreshing way to start the morning. It provides a mild lather but leaves you feeling fresh and clean. The scent lingers in a wonderful way for hours after showering. I am so pleased to have purchased this product and highly recommend it to anyone seeking a vacation hotel experience from your home.

This review is for those who used this product in the past – the formula has changed. Molton Brown original Black Pepper fragrance was amazing and smelled better that the current one. I am not easily excited by shower products, but the original one had layers of fragrance that just keep you invigorated and you can still small it for hours – not the current version. Unlike other MB products, Black Pepper was not shipped to Australia for ~10 years, until recently (I kept checking DJ over the years). I still have an old bottle (bought from DJ and set aside for special moments), so I can compare both fragrance and colour. Not the same! Please bring the old formula back.
I was very happy to hear that the company brought back Black Pepper Re-Charge. Several years ago, the original version was replaced with Peppercorn, which had a disappointing flowery scent. I always got complimented on the original Re-Charge by women, and the spicy scent would last through the day. I was hoping the new recharge would be on-par with the original, but sadly it is not. It has spicy notes, but they are very subdued compared to the original. For those who never experienced the original formula, I’m sure they will be very pleased with this Re-Charge; however, the rest of us know what we are missing. Please bring back the original.
This is my husband's favourite shower gel. He has used it for many years now and prefers it to others he has tried. It has a very pleasant aroma, not too strong as to be overpowering but enough to be admired. The bottle is easy to handle and looks good on the shelf. The spiralling cost is the only downside.
what happened, Molton brown? You had the PERFECT fragrance and then completely destroyed it when you modified the formula. So many reviews say exactly this. Does Molton Brown read these reviews? Do you care at all about what your loyal clientele thinks? We can’t STAND the new fragrance. Please change it back.
I bought this in the small bottle when I was visiting London and I just had to purchase the full size. I absolutely love this shower gel, and will never use anything else. The eucalyptus smell is so refreshing, the gel lathers so nicely, and a little goes a long way. My entire bathroom also smells amazing for hours after using this. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a revitalizing, earthy scent.
I always buy this for my husband at Christmas and his birthday. Although he isn't particularly interested in fragrances or lotions, he always says how nice this product is. It has a fragrance which we both enjoy and the liquid is a good consistency so although it might seem expensive at first glance, it lasts a long time so I feel is definitely worth buying. I also like the women's fragrances too. We are big fans of Molton Brown.
I've been buying the eucalyptus shower gel from MB for years now. I love the clean, tingly fragrance. Eucalyptus and mint smells are always a favourite with me, I find the smell very invigorating. Great for the morning shower! The great thing about MB shower gels too is that a little goes a long way and the smell lingers. You definitely get what you pay for, plus the shower gel lasts for a long time. I like my shower gels and hand washes to be good quality with superb fragrance and that's what you get with Molton Brown.
