My first impression of the 58mm T series lens is how much larger it is in comparison to the 58mm M series. I recall the promotional videos suggesting 25% more glass over the M series and that appears correct. This larger size obviously adds weight when attached to my iPhone 14 pro max. This has not been an issue for me, but something to keep in mind. The build quality appears excellent, as one would expect with Moment lenses.I’ve only used the lens about a week and so far I’m very impressed. The lens is capturing good image detail on the 1x as well as the 3x camera with no fall off around the edges and I’m not seeing any vignetting as I had with the 58mm M series. Whoa, the new 58mm lens is amazing. I just used it on my 13pro as a B camera, and was blown away by the picture. Love it.

This lens DOES NOT work with 5x lens on iPhone 15 Pro Max.The image turns out to be super soft. (Have they even tested it on the 5x iPhone 15 Pro Max Lens? If it is not compatible, they should let people know!)And yes, I am using their Moment Photo App, and already set the lens to T-Series 58mm lens, tried both manual or auto focus, but nothing works.I just can't get the photo to be sharp, and there is ZERO support from this company. Emailed them 72 hours ago still ZERO response besides the automated message.

My last review was removed.Do not expect this to work with the 5x Lens! Their product description said, "We can't wait to shoot with this on the new 5x and we will post some example images very soon." It makes the customer think the 5x lens will work, however, it does not.The image turns out to be super soft, and out of focus with use the 5x Lens. (Yes, I AM using the Moment App)
I was really excited to try this lens with my iPhone 14 Pro. When I did some test images with the main lens and 48MP, the center of the image is sharp and less degraded by lack of pixels compared to the image with just the phone lens, cropped to the same size. You don't have to move far from the center of the frame before the image quality degrades substantially, to the point I may never use this lens for the purpose I intended.When I tested it on the 3X phone lens it seemed a little better but not sure It's worth carrying around the lens. I was hoping I could leave my DSLR home from now on but I think for any serious photography this lens isn't going to cut it. Very little gain from just using the native phone lens in my professional opinion.
We previously used the original lenses way back with I believe our iPhone 7 and were excited to try this on our iPhone 15 Pro Max. It worked well on the main camera and provided a nice intermediate zoom level. Unfortunately, we could not get it to focus on the 5x camera. We were also concerned about the bulk/weight of this lens. It seriously unbalanced the phone in our hand even with my large hands. Neither of us felt the benefits justified the expense so we returned it.
This is the first time that I bought a lens overseas. Quite handy for someone who wants to take photos and videos on a new level.
I have taken a few shots on my IPhone 15 Pro Max on both the normal lens and on the tele and so far it seems soft compared to shots without the added lens. I have had several tele lenses in the past and this is the first one that hasn’t impressed me out of the box.
