I received the Mon Guerlain Eau de Parfum Intense as an early Christmas gift. It is a delicious perfume that I've loved since I had gotten a sample of it a year ago. Now that I have a beautiful perfume bottle, it's definitely my number one fragrance. It's such an elegant upgrade, and it instills a lot of confidence for me. I highly recommend this fragrance for those who love subtle florals with a light dessert aroma at the end. The Intense version makes it last longer without it being to "in your face."

This one is very similar to the original. I get compliments every time I wear the original MG EDP or MG Intense EDP. I love both, but actually like the smell of the original better (less patchouli in the dry down). Unfortunately, MG EDP has too much oil in it, and I break out. However, MG Intense EDP is not as oily and so far have not had any issues. It's my husband's all time favorite fragrance. So, no matter what, I will wear it for him, if only on special occasions or when I've spent too much at Ulta. ;) The scent is truly seductive, and can cover up all sorts of ugliness. Want to feel pretty? Wear this! Want compliments that you smell great? Wear this! Want to make your loved one weak in the knees? Wear this! I wore the original mon guerlain for years. It was the only perfume I wore and my preferred scent. I was a bit hesitant to try the intense one, fearing it might be overpowering. But I wish I had tried this one much earlier. This is the best! Stays long and the scent is more enhanced in a delightful way than the original. I've been wearing different Guerlain perfumes for many years and they interact with my body so well, so they stay long and smell great throughout the day even with just one or two sprays. I see some reviews complaining about the scent not lasting so long. I never had that issue with any guerlain perfumes. But everyone might react to perfumes differently.

I couldn't stop thinking about it, so over a year later I ordered online back in the US. Unfortunately, my love of the fragrance seemed to have been lost in translation. Blind buy, though I do already have the Mon Guerlain EDP. Love both. There's just something about the scent that is...perfection. smelling it literally makes me happy. It's not one of those "in your face" scents, like some of the bestsellers from the big fashion houses. This is so elegant. TBH, I don't know how anyone would not like it! Beautiful bottle presentation. Nonetheless, unfortunately, this fragrance is overrated! It smells great but the longevity is such a disappointment! You have to constantly have this with you because the smell is so fleeting that you have to be spraying at least every 1 to 2 hours! This makes it not last past 2 weeks — this is so pricey, that I would rather purchase something more affordable that has longer lasting power!
It’s different from anything I’ve ever owned, but it’s amazing! It’s subtle, yet distinct and noticeable. My honey loves it! I would describe it as a soft scent that can be worn year round. It’s very long lasting and just makes you feel good. I got a sample of it first, and when I initially put it on, I didn’t think I liked it. But as it calmed down, I really started to love it. I decided to wait to see if I was going to buy it and went about my day. I walked past my boyfriend at some point, and he was like “whoa. What are you wearing??” He and I are both really into fragrance, so that meant a lot to me coming from him. Get it, you won’t regret it!
Not gonna lie, when I first sprayed this on, it felt a bit masculine due to the lavender and patchouli. But after using it a few times, I'm now sooo in love with it! The vanilla hits after it dries down, and is just so beautiful. Lasts super long, even after washing my clothes I can still smell it . Delivery to Malaysia took about 19 days which is good considering it's from the US. Would definitely repurchase, thank you so much FragranceX!
I was wondering if fragrances are getting weaker? It's likely a bottle with colored water with cheap smell. Why is called Intense? Previously purchased Mon Guerlain Eau de Parfum with golden neck was great.
